Which class...

I'm having a hard time choosing a class...perhaps you can all give me some advice.

 

Mage is by far my favorite, but I've hit the point where they kind of fall off the radar...so I intend on waiting for a love patch to continue playing mine. In the mean time I'd like a class that can do other such stuff.

 

So...since I play a lot by myself, what class suggestions can you give for these?

 

Leveling? - Besides Mage of course. (For early levels that is)

Hunting? -  So far I've read Priestess is great for hunting. Is that true?

Bossing? - From what I gather...Knight and Fighter?

PvP? - I'm pretty sure this one is up in the air. But some less bias experienced answers would be fantastic.

Tanking - Pretty sure Mechs win. Which brings me to...

All of the above? - The only class I can think of that can do it all is Knight. I'd say Mech...but from what I've read they kind of blow at PvP right now? Correct me if I'm wrong.

 

I'm mainly looking for a nice balance between it all, so I have options. And I don't mean something that does it all better than everyone, just a class that can do it all fairly well. Perhaps a scaling from 1 ~ 10 (1 being poor, 10 being great) at how each class does in each area?

in hunting (take over undead monster)

 

and a mech easy char to lvl

if u dont take on bossed or skills dont run out then ya cant die

and the use of the sparkbuild is easy aswell

and after that go prs

Hi there,

 

The intent of the dev team is to make everyone decent in everything. That's why archer and mage are under development right now.

 

Although every one is going to be decent in everything, each far will have their forte, such as:

tanking -> mechanician

hunting -> archer

P vs P -> fighter, pikeman,

leveling|SoD -> Magician|priestess

Atalanta and knight should have their forte as well

 

I'm not telling exactly the forte of each char, since everything could change, but this is what teorically the dev team is working to became true, or something like that.

 

 

However, we have the current situation:

 

pvp forte -> fighter, pikeman, knight, atalanta

SoD forte -> pikeman, knight, atalanta, mech

hunting forte -> archer, atalanta, knight

 

classes that could pvp decently: fighter, pikeman, knight, atalanta, power mech

classes that could SoD decently: fighter, pikeman, knight, atalanta, tanking mech

classes that could hunt decently: fighter, archer, knight, atalanta, tanking mech

Classes that don't do anything: magician, prs

 

With a mage you can level up good, since they got good AoE. However, you can't level up if you don't have a prs with you, because mage sucks in defence, and will suck for a long time.

 

Archer seems to have good damage, but  think they're still low in defence (i don't know nothing about archer so i actually don't know)

 

Prs are good for leveling, because though they don't have anything good, they have Vl, which everyone else needs. You can't make a prs for pleasure, you make it just to stand outside the flags, VLing.

 

That's it, mate. If you ask me, i'd make a knight or a atalanta, because those classes got recent improovement, and they can do everything. Pike is good, but it doesn't hunt so well, because they miss much (IHMO it's right, since they pvp good). Fighter is ok, but a pain in the ass for leveling.

Archer aint hunting that well, Edgardo.

Prs and Knights are the best hunters, and you can see that because 90% of et3 are Prs\Knights.

ATA / AS = not boring coz need to move around to save life

KS = moderate playing style

FS / PS = Hard to XP

MS = forever thanking machine in any map according to your level

PRS = can get party anytime because of VL

MGS = good to XP but boring
