What do you think could improve on Wartale?

In my opinion, I think that there is something motivating for the players to come back, many of my friends / acquaintances are failing to play because the game was a "sameness", the lack of group challenges in the Secret Laboratory map, the how some maps are forgotten, we have as example Ancient Weapon, the amount of promises NOT fulfilled, all these and many other factors caused the loss of players, perhaps if the moderators heard the community a little more and did what is promised, maybe we would not have such a monotonous game.

We already had many suggestions and many targets to achieve but it's depend on Wartale's plan.

 

I think now the only thing we can do is ppl share their activities in game that others can enjoy.

 

For me, I have only 1~2 hours/day for game on working day so SLQ take me all time. At the weekend, maybe i can take DIQ and train.

Secondly, I go BC sometimes and SW every weekend.

Beside that, i exchange class with other players for more char experience.

 

That's all for me now.

1-  remove all stuff from coin shop

2-  create visual stuff for coin shop (lots of armor skins, lots of wep skins, aging re-color, mix re-color, rare skins, craftable skins with fail chance, quest-only skins) 

3-  make change class/change items/item perfectlize all available through in-game quest + gold fee only, not for coin$

4-  make all aging effects work proportionally to item status instead of fixed values

5 - make aging fail chances proportional to item level (higher level items higher failure chance)

6- remove bolster recovery

7- remove PVP mules

8- all classes with same overall PVP performance

9- set dev team ultimate and only goal to work with full skill potential instead of 5% only and always focus on the community as a whole and not focus in top-donators 90% of time because they do 90% of donations. dev team must work with ultimate level of commitment

10- full perma ban all accounts/IP is the new and only possible punishment for anything wrong, no matter if small or big mistake or first time. 

11- treat every single player the same exact way. no special treatment or special bonus or anything customized for anyone no matter what. (even if someone saves the life of the mom of the server owner twice)

 

that's what i have in mind.

Change this way of big major updates to a weekly/montly update, so the server will always show us something new.

 

The last update was 9 november

 

You guys are a small team, the updates are awesome, but this gap of updates really get us bored.

Well, I see that many players are stopping playing because of the lack of news on the server.
They are always the same events, goals are never completed in time, T5 we are waiting.
Other servers have already launched maps and news, and we are standing still.

 

I say this because I love playing Wartale.

Just as others are tired of waiting.

 

@Wartale I hope you understand what we're trying to say.

I know that if everyone puts their point of view and talk about what is great and what needs improvement we can go further. Wartale needs to hear everyone in the players to keep the server as number 1

Staff gives their best to deliver us a good game but we need to have in mind the fact that it's very hard to do updates regularly since there's not programmers enough.

Also, staff can't trust to hire people to work as programmers for them because they can't assign a term of confidentiality of the code, I think you guys know what happened in the past.

Why am I saying this? Because I think we should discuss options and possibilities for a better server based on the fact that they can't do it as fast as we need.

We won't find a solution if we just keep asking for updates, we need to find how they would deliver these updates.

Maybe focusing on one thing and delivering it, then moving forward to the next? Would be possible to do this every 2 months?

I still think there is a shorter relationship between ADM and Players.
He could create a topic and tell us what he's working on.
because many things are pending and we do not know where it is focused.

rework all maps/classes/items visuals to something 95% similar to what we have right now and then re-launch the whole game with another game engine/codes with all rights available and become a fully official game server instead of being a private out-law server. ? 

 

must track all items and accounts in the game and then transfer everything 100% the way it is to the new game. 

 

Basically a whole new game, but with all same characters levels, IDs, Pws, Item status, etc from current Wartale server.

Yeah! We have to be grateful for what they did because it's just awesome, no doubts.

But now we have a huge lack of updates, which is decreasing the joy we get from playing wartale. We need to discuss to find a way to help the developers keep the game as good as it always was.

No.2 is definitely good, but for no.1 to remove all stuff, that I am not so sure.

Yeah, some consumable like EXP UP / DROP UP, can be bought in both coins and gold, because all I see now is 500c = 1GB, it was still 750c = 1GB for many years. Gold is super useless now except Aging, but no new 144/142 items.

This is impossible, they never treated every single player equally since the day they created the server.

Yeah, me too, should create more Party Quest, different Party Quest with different goals and reward, game is boring as hell.

The problem in this is: DiQ and other quests would be dead. I think this is why they're taking so long to release a new quest, it would break other quests.

The Party Quest can be so much different. Who said the Party Quest must be like DiQ or SL Hellspawn? Who said the Party Quest must be kill monsters? Who said the Party Quest must be giving EXP as rewards? Who said the Party Quest must be a full party to do it efficiently?

 

Party Quest can even be in Garden of Freedom to kill 50,000 Hopies and give you a 12Hour EXP UP. Party Quest can even be in SoD to pick up 100 Freeze Seals in 1 hour to give you a 12HOUR ITEM UP. Party Quest can even be in Phillia to do 6 man running at least 100,000 steps in 15 minutes to give you 6 Soccer Hats as rewards.

 

Who fucking said the Quest Party must be like DiQ? Shake head. LMAO.

Lol. Yeah very toxic. My apology xD. Just wana point out Party Quest can make this game very fun and many players will come back to play if we have many different type of Party Quest for different players, different rewards, different complete time, all 6 players doing it together without killing any monsters. Why must Party Quest kill monsters? right  xD?

Right! I totally agree with you, we need more options of what to do in this game.

                                                By the way Im ChuckEvanz on wartale.. I have some opinion that can improve wartale... create new map and new items.

But oppurtunately all new items will not be on coin shop.. make it challenge  to player to play and hunt those new items... these new items release  put it a special stats 

to make sure players will be interest it.

 

                                              So it means players in low lvl will do exp to enter the new map. and those players are already can enter the new map will hunt and hunt well to gain those new items. but the challenge is, its very difficult to have that new items.  so it will cost of 100kc + per items .  put only on coin shop is to perfectize those items worth of  50kc each items.

 

                                              And the last thing just pm me if that kind of opinion will do best for wartale. And  i will continue to suggest it...

Step 1: Reduce all exp gain by 75%
Step 2: Reduce all gold gain by 50%
Step 3: Remove party bridging
Step 4: Only allow 2 clients online per ip
Step 5: Remove ALL pay to win from coin shop
Step 6: Reduce drop rate of all sheltoms by at least 50%
Step 7: Increase sheltom price at shop 10x or more

 

(optional step, but probably most effective: erase ALL accounts on the server)

Pretty much the ideal scenario. 
More than 50% of the game might aswell be removed, because you can get level 100 in a day or 2. All maps and items below level 100, could be deleted as of now. For those actually chilling through the levels, its close to impossible to get specced gear, unless you get class specific weapons from a shop.


Mostly the economy is shitty and boring, this is primarily what my list is about.
Less exp means more diverse item selling, because everyone wont be over level 120.
Reduce gold gain, because its super easy to make money.
Remove part bridging, so people actually have to work together and play, instead of just standing around. Also the reason for only 2 clients per IP. 
Removing pay 2 win will also stimulate the economy. No items to buy from the shop, means more hunting for items, thus more economy.
Sheltoms should be a more integral part of the economy. Making them drop less, means higher prices. Again, better for the economy.

I know this wont ever happen, but removing ALL accounts from the server would, first of all, reset the economy, which would be nice. Secondly it would give people a purpose to play again, and with the slower progression, thered be more to expect. Right now, all quests under level 100 are more or less useless, unless they give stat/skillpoints, and there are so many different quests at level 100 and below. If you progress slowly, there is something to look forward to. Next quest unlock actually means something, leveling up actually means something. New level, new items. Above level 120 there arent many "item steps". You still have a few item levels to unlock but its not many. Below level 100 there are many many more item steps, slower level progression means these steps actually impact you. 

I know this is mostly rambling, i hope you can understand where im coming from haha. Im aware that 99% of you will not agree with most, if any of these suggestions. I do hope, however, that i may spark some discussion, or even just some thought about what could be done moving forward, to provide more gameplay to the server.
