Question regarding current MAGE Meta

Hi there, I used to be a vanilla PT player back in the good old days.
For nostalgia fix, I found Wartale and it's been a blast! I even brought 3 other friends to come join me to play

Just some quick questions for you all... I'm 96, what is the current skill build everyone uses to farm?
Is Meteor better than Flame wave? is Waternado better than Dias?

 

and is it just me? When I use Dias, if i stand in one place too long i stop doing damage around me. I have to move like a bit before my damage registers again...?
And i find that there is delay in combat. just seeing if thats the case for everyone else.

Also, I'm quite new to the server so a lot of things I'm not familiar with is there a beginners guide on this forum somewhere for me to read?

Currently, the best combo in the whole game by far is Flame wave + Watornado. (PvE + AoE)

Don't quote me on this but I think Mental mastery is a must, next would be Spirit Elemental, then Magic Source.

Energy Shield for sure. Fire elemental to tank... Enchant Weapon (Works as attack buff), Stone Spike.

 

Zenith if you want to be more tanky or Dancing Sword for a bit more DPS even though its a little bugged right now.

All i could think of atm. Thats what My mage is running atm. its 12x

So enchant weapon actually boost skill dmg? Or only auto attacks? And isnt flame wave a better option compared to spike? As @NeoHiei explained how waternado and flame wave is currently the best combo dps wise.

yes it actually increases damage so it adds to your other spells damage like a force sheltom would. Flame wave and Waternado is better but apparently its a bit buggy right now according to:

Currently the MG is the biggest PVE/AoE damage of the game.
