-As he said +70% jav dmg would help in all skill.

-a larger range for soul sucker could help in pve

-a slightly larger range for shield throw for pvp

 

-maybe revamp storm jav  to something like *120~130% boost  so it could be better than Xtrem rage and would make the gameplay more dynamic.

-HoV could give dmg boost as well to pt player.

@Wartale c'mon m8, cheer me up, say that ata will have some changes soon, the only thing that keeps me moving foward with this class is hope for a buff.

1 year has passed and some things have been improved in atalanta. However, the area attack is still low and players do not want the minutes in Di, Q!

Currently atalanta is the worst character in-game. sad. PVP, PVE, SOD. ???? I hope the GM can see the feedbacks. very sad.

Nah, dont lie. Being the worst is not the case of Atalanta.

If Split Javelin gets fixed, it is a very good class to PvP with, by far from the worst. She is very well balanced (perhaps some little tweaks here and there), the problem is being outclassed by other broken classes, which gives the illusion that Atalanta is bad at PvP.

For example, there is no point on playing Atalanta if Archer has a longer reach, tanks a lot more with Shield (thanks to higher evasion), and has the ability to use a 2 hand weapon and deals the highest constant 1v1 damage in the game with Phoenix Shot and her new T5, Solar Shot. Atalanta Shield Strike (stun) has so much little reach, whereas Archer's Stun Arrow reach is based on bow range.

Archer outclass Atalanta so much, so, it seems that Atalanta is bad, but in reality she isn't.

PvE, on 1v1 she is quite good already. New Split Javelin can output a higher damage than the old one (3 consecutive crits), Poison Javelin and Soul Sucker yields atalanta a very high DPS.

On AoE, the new Extreme Javelin increased a lot her damage, but perhaps she still needs some improvments.

Sod is broken as a whole, and being good on sod is usually a reflect of how good a character is on PvE AoE department.


I would suggest some major tweaks on Atalanta, but I never got the chance to proper test her. 

She has some useless offensive skills that could receive a new purpose on specific scenarios. And, to be honest, I wish Atalanta could cast some of her offensive skills with 2 Handed Scythes (that in reality are spears. very few "scythes" for Pikes are actually scythes, his weapon is actually a spear.) for an extra peak damage at cost of her little tankiness with shields.

However I cant find a solution on how to gracefully deal with the higher Str requirement of Scythes. 

On my wet dreams, Atalanta should receive a full rework, with  some concepts I'd like to see in Wartale:

Atalanta, a hybrid between on-foot and mounted character, also a hybrid between long-range and close range.

Being able to mount and FIGHT while mounted on her Chimera:

Once mounted on Chimera, Atalanta gains all Chimera normal buffs, but also gains new buffs: Higher Move Speed and Reduced Damage, but looses attack speed and attack rating. Once being mounted, you can't be unmounted by damage, except by future balance that might add a specific skill the unique trait of forcing mounts out of players.

To prevent too much work on animation rework, not all of her offensive skills should be available to be used while being mounted. The ones that are, gets specific boost when mounted. When mounted, the closer you are to the target, the higher the damage.

Skills that arent allowed to be used while mounted, could also get different new effects and boosts.

So, Ata could switch between on-foot and riding her Chimera on specific scenarios.

Your points are true. What i meant about being worst is exactly the deficits you pointed out. I just made it exaggerated just to illustrate my opinion. Other than that, nice critic for the said character. I hope that the GM's can see this as i have been rooting for this character ever since.

+ 1 Hopefully Ata problem will get attention to GM

 

I think ATA need some attention and Improvement to get better. As I remember in Wartale - AS/ATA are better in some aspects like PVP

My Ata is so weak both offensive and defensive. I died so much. Being under 110 makes it even harder because people rarely sell low level gear. 

 

When you die so easily money is hard to come by. You can't pick gold much because if you're distracted you die.

- Xtreme Rage should receive a damage increase from 80% to 100 or 110%, even with the recent changes, the skill is not as good as other ranged character skills.

 

- Poison Javelin deservers a bigger range, right now the skills feels like a single-target ability. Are of effect should definitely get a buff. Venom Spear (Tier 3) is WAY better than Poison Javelin (Tier 5).
