haha it is so stupid to play as lurer. should create a normal hellspawns without luring.

in my whole life in Wartale i lured like 2-3 times and that's it.

Players that refuse to adapt are prone to failure.

Luring might be something players avoid doing, but it is actually easy and doesn't demand too much effort.

All I recomend is buying a decent mouse - and that means any mouse with side clicks. And oh - play at the biggest resolution possible, the better your view, the easier it becomes.

Mouse with side clicks makes the luring 90% easier and more fluid. One of the key aspects that makes luring boring or too hard to begin with is the constant camera manipulating. And, by standard ways, the player has to either use the not-so-good automatic camera, or drag the mouse to both sides of the screen to spin the camera around - and over time, such drastic mouse movements make you feel much more tired.

With side clicks, you can easily turn the camera around reducing your mouse movements a lot.

And, if you actually pay attention on what you're doing, you'll soon detect a pattern of when and where mobs spawn, and how their lure mechanics (or sight range) works. With that in mind, after a few quests you can always walk in a way that it becomes sort of a luring route - and all you have to do is repeating this pattern over time.

 

And when you master the luring mechanics of the game and the spawn luring route - it becomes automatic. All you have to do is to make your character run automatically by double clicking, move your mouse a bit just to change your character direction, and rotate the camera with side clicks. If your char is tanky enough, most of the time you'll be playing with just one hand - most of the damage taken will be healed thanks to the Priestess Regen.


I can't understand players that refuse to lure, or, to be more specific, can only lure on specific spawns (like HS2). A bad exping experience is standing still on Ricarten shouting for slot as killer, on a specific map and spawn, all day, making no exp at all.

And, oh, I can make many consecutive 14 minute quests on HS3 if killers are strong enough ❤️

HS2 rely too much on the lurer, where HS3 is a lot easier to lure, it all depends on the lazy killers.

The Lurer role is the worst thing to do in wartale atm.

 

Lurer is the most active player on the party, must be careful to not lure in the killers, pray for the tanker notice wich side you are luring from and when u pass by the party you see 1 fella not hitting the mobs.

 

Traditionally luring is the role of the tanker, here, lurer is the member to be guilted for every failure of the party.

 

I already lured in 14 minutes and last DIQ i did was 23 minutes. In this specific case they grumbled on me and disband.
 

Luring is stressing and not fun.

i time i lure 25min pro diq and this tank 15x left just by doing 1 diq :v i not pro lurer coz i fastest lure is 15min or 16min i think but 25min coz party take pro quest then tank left , i take all blame for that maybe coz i nub then make diq 25min , still maybe is also in lucky if mobs drop gold or not when you lure and yes it depends on killer also not just lurer

I'm luring on every quest, since my Knight was 152, now 155, soon 156. Hs3 only. 

It's just a matter of willpower to reach your goals, or stay inert living on the comfort zone ?

lol Luiz i prefer to spend so much time on more important things in life than running in game come on. i am 142 only and i cannot make 1% by quests, it drives me crazy.

believe me when i was a kid i played EPT and exped the hard and real way without Mana potions and xp boosters.

now days it is just spamming skills because it is easy to get mana, and a crew to level up with.

 

the price is known, the value is lost. there is no real friend play in game anymore.

I think it's also because of pro lurers around, that it sets the "standard" for everyone else to do the same. That's why it's hard nowadays.
