Monster AoE damage vs a pet now always damages you if you're nearby. What's your opinion?

dont need pet/crystal in this map.

also we can see all clearly ?

Yes, if it's a AoE ( Area of Effect ) attack, you should take dmg too if you're nearby.

 

This seems more realistic.

Btw, Shadow Sanctuary monsters doing 10000+ damage on these AoE hits to you when they are targeting a pet is a bug.

Btw, Shadow Sanctuary monsters doing 10000+ damage on these AoE hits to you when they are targeting a pet is a bug.

The issue here is the balance.

Rangers still take more advantage than melee.

You can make a statistic about how many times a melee char died in new map comparing with a ranger char to show how big difference.

(Please use char 144/145 with items 134/136+22 without Boss Items).

And in other maps such as SL or AW, the ranger still can use pet for "tank".

If we can not make the balance, please use past mode.

 

P/S: I think we should make the target is the quantity of melee chars ~ ranger chars.

How to:

  • Make all chars can summon pet for "tank" in hunting.
  • Make damage of PVE is the same among chars by canculating the monster can be killed in 1 hour with the same lv and items melee and ranger char.

For me it should continue the way it is today, if we put the possibility of using pet the map would be full auto MS, ATA and AS.

First of all you need to consider that 90% of votes to back to old way is from archers and automechs of course. And they are right defending their side.

 

But I think you need to put on the balance what would happen if rollback to the old mode or keep with current mode to see what is better for a whole wartale community

 

If back, we will see much more auto hunters again, and they will have more advantage against melee classes, because they can use pure, they have huge damage , can killing in far distance without pot any HP, will exp more faster , and drop more because all they have to do it set an auto shift attack into a mob repeatedly. So probably it's gonna be another SL map way, just with new mobs and drops.

 

Another important point who people aren't realizing is that priestess will turn totally useless, they were usefull in SL because mobs there have high HP and an extinction help a lot , but in SS since HP mobs is a bit is low compared to SL, they will turn totally useless. No reason for extinction or VL if you have pet or Cristal to tank for you.

 

Since Ice Mine map was released, all another hunt maps are same mode: like Ice Mine - Death Island - Ancient Weapon - Secret Laboratory. I  all of these maps the mobs has high HP.

 And the hunt mod worked the same way. So, I ask you, why don't try another experiences in game ? For me, it seems more fair how it is now, for years and years the hunt system was in old mode , why don't try something new ?

 

Mechs can turn power build, archers can use armor aged and with evade and a phoenix egg to freeze the mobs you will rock !! Archers and mechs had a long time of Glory in this game, is time to share with other classes guys.

 

Finishing , my opinion says to keep how it is, for me is more fair and balanced, otherwise only 2-3 classes will be benefited in old mode. SL works perfectly fine with pets, and have many quests now there , AW too, so if wanna keep your old hunt mode, you can go to those maps, there are many things to do there now, is simple. And let shadow sanctuary for a new experiences. We want new things.

 

Sorry to make a Darklink style huge post hahaha ?

-1 as not have vary high dmg and for dmg u need to go full agi so we as players most have pet for pve die 2 hits

But i do not see the difference for ms auto or as, even ss, mgs now.

They still use hopy or cuepy to kill monster from very far.

I hunt in pt with ms and as. They kill very fast but do not get Hit. Because in new map have many stairs, many walls can protect them.

So, they get more advantage than before, not the intention of Wartale for new Mod.

 

SS is very good experiences now but still not solve the balance issue.

What is the point of a poll?

Have u read the replys?

Mostly of ppl who shared their opinion believe that the post is about pet / crystals on shadow sanctuary. I wonder if they read the first post or just the title, and even in that case, the only mention of the new map is a note on very small font.

 

Anyway, back to your suggestion, mostly of ppl will vote for "keep the new system", but the true is that they dont have any idea what they are voting xD

 

For those who after new patch have been on SS only, probly u will noticed, but.... if u go another map, SL, DI, anywhere, and u use a pet/crystal when a mob fight against them if he use an aoe skill, if u are close your char will receive damage, the pet/crystlas dont tank 100% for u now; that is what about this post, this post is not about Shadow Sanctuary (if i am not wrong)...

I think its not fair to recieve damage from far mobs even if you are attacking far away of them while a pet / tank is holding the mobs.

I'd rather to move back to the old way.

Kinda removes the whole point of pets, doesn't it? Atleast from what I understand so far.

 

Edit: What about a skill balance patch then, it's been awhile since any buffs/nerfs to the classes skills.

Suggestion ☺️ (Three Options):

 

-Add consumption Mana during attack of the Pets or Crystal (Not much)

-Add consumption RES during attack of the Pets or Crystal (Not much)

-Add consumption HP during attack of the Pets or Crystal (Not much)

Why not may be... just remove aoe damage againts chars, and let still work against pet/crystals? (Just like before the new patch) ?

The best mage skill ( flame wave ) doesn't work using a hopy costume, it doesn't add the extra range

About shaman, maybe you are right,they can get more range

But again shaman will rule against mage and priest in this game?

Talking about magic classes and considering the old mode

Shaman can pvp, exp and hunt.

Mages basically exp

Prs can only exp  and some support ( not compared to mage because she has less damage, tank less, need high gear to tank smoothly in iron core).

But now these classes had a chance to be more usefull. It's like I said before, is better benefit 2-3 classes or almost all of them?

I see no problem on using cristals, map is awesome the way it is. Melee can exp finally, but for rangers i understand that they need it.

Do you see how many PS, how many Ass in server comparing with Mgs, Prs?

 

And why do the value of Ps or Ass always lower than others?

 

This is the problems of server balance.

 

And the new Mods make these chars more difficult to play. 

 

I do not see any good thing come to them.

Are you trying to say that ass and pike are weaker than Priest? LoL

Pike and ass have more DPS than As. Assassin has a 12 s poison (t2 skill) and the burning effect while she is attacking 1x1, and she has Wisp( -24% dmg) and ice, to help her in tanking.

Pike has the most OP ice on the game(-50%) with no delay at all (12 sec duration 11sec delay), an extremly strong poison and assassin eye, which increases a lot pike's damage.

The problem is that players are lazy and just want to spawn only 1 skill.. 

I think Shadow sanctuary is perfect as it is,without crystals, other maps, the old crystal system could stay, since it was balanced to be that way.

Edit: also, shaman can't use hopy, cuz press deity limit range is only 300.
