3TB 0 Report post Posted April 29, 2011 Hi, I was wondering about the "damage boost" part of the skills. For instance, Avenging Crash gives 95%, but 95% of what? 95% of the attack power on the weapon? Or 95% of the total attack power of the character? Thanks ;D
QMan 0 Report post Posted May 15, 2011 on weapon.. and still too much if on total dmg it 's over power
Setsuna 0 Report post Posted June 10, 2011 No way. if it was realy on weapon dmg only, you would barely even notice it and skills like jumping crash or Phoenix Shot would suck compared to any multiple-hit skills. I think it boosts your total damage.

I think it boosts your total damage. Multi-hit skills may not necessarily all be individual attacks, but rather just divisions of the same attacks. I don't believe anyone has ever proved what you said or what I just offered as an alternative true [considering it is rather difficult to determine how damage works in this game without seeing the numbers]

Just think about it. You will gain + 100% weapondamage for every 130 strength/Agility. Add force-sheltoms and skills like berserker or FON and on high lvls your normal hits will easily do more than 500% of your base weapon damage (probably even more). If skills like phoenix shot would add another 172% of weapon damage instead of total damage, you wouldnt even notice a difference between a normal hit and phoenix shot. Zero 0 Report post Posted June 11, 2011 I was making a different point rather than weapon or overall damage, just on multi-hit stuff. On many games, multi-hits are just divisions of the same attack. Ex: -Single hit is calculated to do 2000 damage, you see 2000 damage pop up on screen -Multi-hit skill [2 hits] formula is supposed to do 2000 damage as well, instead of each attack hitting at 2000 damage, it hits at 1000 on the first hit and 1000 on the second for a total of 2000 I was saying no one ever proved it worked like this or the other way, so both are possibilities. Dias *seems* to not work like this, but we can't prove it, and it can also vary from skill to skill. So much is aloof with not being able to determine our damage . Rkokie 6 Report post Posted June 25, 2011 @ topic, I really have no idea @ zero (dias), on dias the total +damage will be shown in skill window.
