Endurance elixir

I've spent more time than I care to admit trying to find these things. The stones, okay, mind-numbingly boring, but at least it didn't require a lot of attention to get it done. The energy flowers, bit more involvement, but at least it didn't take all that long. I haven't even tried the magma yet, but I hear I can't even enter the area until the character is level 100, so I guess that could get complicated. But the endurance elixir... Is there some particular place where the beetles spawn more often or something? Anything at all you can do? Right now, I'm just standing at a beach and letting the magnetic spheres kill a monster per second, occasionally glancing at the screen to see if a beetle spawned, which is rare. Is hour after hour of that that really how this is supposed to work?

I kinda agree that the elixers are too rare... Tho don't get lazy, pristontale opens a new book at realmpt that requires attention

dont be so impatient.... the quest it's suposed to be hard.... or what do we want.... kill a hopy and be tier 5 ???? come on the same with the Poison Sample Quest.... remember the rank quest.... the last one should be harder than the others ones... and the drop rate of the Elixir it's good... so stop complaining about this and keep doing the quest =)... Take care about Eragon =P.

Oh, well I guess that takes care of one problem. I'm not sure I even want to know how much they cost though. I have a feeling it's going to sting. That is assuming I ever get off this damned beach. This not how I envisioned my friday evening earlier this week.

That's the thing, it's not hard. It is in fact one of the easiest quests so far. It just takes such a god awfully long time. Hard I can live with, but sitting around and doing absolutely nothing for hours, with no chance of influencing the outcome in any way is what gets to me.

Well, 3 hours and counting. Ruined is a bit of a strong word, but I wouldn't call the evening a great success. Guess I'm too new to be used to PT not being hard.

This is the best spawn to get the beetles:

 

 

Kill everything you see to make sure they respawn faster.

I managed to get 2~3 elixirs in 30 minutes.

Overall its just about luck, when I went to get it for my mech. It took me 15 mins? then I found one, I walked back, killed 2 more beetles and got a second one which I gave to a clannie.

 

Later on a friend was trying to get one, and after about an hour he still didn't have anything... I came there, killed 3 beetles and got one for him ._.

 

Later with my mage, I tried it again and it seriously took me once again about 15~30min same for the second one I hunted for my priestess..

 

 

You just have to be lucky, Also I think they spawn the most at the busyest spawn. So if 4 ppl are on 1 spawn It will spawn more there then on other spawns. Not sure tough.

 

But It shouldn't be changed, don't make the quest easyer as it is!
