the quest shuld be do able with a party of 8x people, so im pretty sure 2k HP is a myth lol.

I hope so . I've already done 5T Q but i think, that my 9x Ata will fail. As you said, there is NO WAY to kill Eragon by 8 8x, I was trying 6 times even with full 10x, 11x, 12x room we failed =/

I went with my 110 prs, a 107 mech, a 8x pike , 2 9x mage's,  1 8x fs, 1 10x prs and 1other i forgot and nearly all of them died... except me and the 107 mech there is no dman way 8ppl lvl 8x can beat this

Hehe I agree on that eragon is too strong, srsly I have a friend who has been in like 6 times already, all of those times there were 10~11~12x people too. and all died...

 

If you wan't to beat the eragon you probably need a mech and a priestess for sure

he's much more stronger than beta release... with 7 11x and me, everyone died... with 4 10x, 2 11x, a prs 125 and me.. we defeated him..

It is not whether it matters or not. Its supposed to be a rank up quest for 8x to complete so why are 11x every dying to it so easily? A party of 8 8x would be impossible to defeat Eragon with.

For a group of 8x is impossible.

I went there two times, at first only with 9x, two magicians, 2 priest, a knights, 2 pikes, 1

mech, We took the HP him to the letter "G". But all died  :'(

 

The second time I went with a group with 10x. 2 mages 9x, 2mechs 10x, ,1 Fighter 10x,

1 kinight 10x, 1 Pike 8x, then we did.  ;D

If you get hit by 2 in a row I think you'd die.

Got it done with my priestess (95) and others around the same level + a 121 mech, actually. I just kept casting holy mind (level 9) over and over, keeping VL on everyone, and spamming vigor ball in between. It wasn't easy and it definitely needs to be taken down a notch, but it can be done at reasonable levels.

it's not imposible.... i went to kill eragon with party of 11x and 10x my prs is 114.... we dont need any more just good stats and was "easy" to kill him...he just have a lot of HP...i only use glacial spike and VB.... not even force or casting VL or everybody...

 

And we just should wait por 3196 patch and stop complaining about the quest =/.

This quest should be solo friendly just like all the rank ups, personally i do not want to rely on other people to accomplish something this simple, making this too complicated when it shouldn't be.

 

Most new people do not have any friends in the game, or anyone to help them do the quest, basically its poorly planned out quest for anyone new to the server that started to play.

 

Basically what I'm getting from this quest is this, your new to realmpt, but when you get to lv 80 and want tire 5 you can go frak yourself.

I suspect things will start to get interesting once most people are done with the quest and you won't have groups of 100+ doing it. In a few weeks, I suspect you'd be lucky even to have a full group of 80+, and that's when things would start to get ugly if the dragon is anywhere near the same power he's at now.

It's not a bad thing, in theory. Unfortunately, as just pointed out, it relies on a lot of luck unless you're in a clan and have friends to help you out. I'm new and pretty much know no one. Add to that the fact that I speak neither Portugese nor Vietnamese (nor Spanish for that matter), and it makes me pretty much a persona non grata. Wanna place a bet on how well my shot at the quest would work out if I had to do it after everyone else is done?
