Lol according to the site~ , which its info is delayed for 1~2 weeks now, there should be 2-3 new skills every week, which would mean trine shield should be here in 1 or 2 weeks. The skills should be near finish state then...

I'm also curious

Why ask details when it is not yet fully given

That's the whole point, if the details were given you don't need to ask

I personally think they won't stack. I believe Trine Shield came to substitute ES and help on it's freaking bug

Same, I haven't seen anything with a buff animation stack with the same type of animation, knight's divine/godly shield for instance and ES/Spark already. I don't see why they would stack or how rather [animation wise], they both change the shield.

Don't think they'll stack, just like PA/MA/Maxi and ES/SS, you will have to pick one over the other.

We don't know. As classes are getting huge power boosting and we'll be party tankers we're all hoping for 40% block added to what you already got

As stated on the site, it's just an extra 40% block on top of your shields block, which would be great! Looking at about 70% block in total (if it were true).

Tis anyone's guess at the moment, but I get the feeling that it will end up as 40% of shield's block and I hope I'm wrong  :-\

"Block does not stack" So on lvl 1 ur block is reduced to 4% or w/e the site says, but on lvl10 your block is 40%

In other words, my 30% block on my shield drops to 4%? I think not...

If anything, it's be like the "120% crit pike", but instead of crit, it's block. It's hard to put it into words how it works, sad to say  :(

Ok like this,  You total block is 20, when you use the skill at level 1 it will be 4%block. lvl 2 your block will be 8%, 12 on lv4, 16 on 4 etc.  On lvl 10 your (TOTAL)block will be 40%.

Your (shields) defence will get a 300% boost and your abs will get a 150% boost and block 40%, seems nice to me.

I think we're not totally understanding what each of us are trying to say and maybe my use of "block in total" was misleading.

Ok, here we go  :)

Shield block will not drop, skill block will increase, you were partly correct when you said "Block does not stack". It's that they aren't added into 1 number.

30% shield and 40% skill, doesn't mean 70% block. They will be 2 separate parts of the defense/block formula.

Monster/player hits you - does shield block? yes/no. If yes, hit blocked. If no, move on to skill block -  does skill block? yes/no. If yes, hit blocked. If no, then moves on to def and abs etc. Does that make any kind of sense? As at this time, it's the only way I can think of explaining it.

i have to agree with toy the 40% of trine, and your shields block will likely act as separate rolls, in the end though the the difference between them statistically is blocking 70%-76% if it added to your shields block and blocking about 67% of attacks if they work as separate rolls, either way it should hopefully be good

From 51% block to 40%... don't think so. If that's coming to substitute shield skills (mostly a T1 skill) and as the T5 is a lot more powerful than the others I don't believe they'll bring the block to a lower level and even ignoring shield block

Are you sure its percentage points rather then percent? In that case if you have a shield with 30% block, at trineshield lvl1 it would give you 30*1,04=31,2% block. At lvl 10 it would be 30*1,4=42% block... seems more logical to me...
