I don't think which Agony will make some good for magicians.

Why we need recover mana without potions!? Just use potions!

 

Mage need be stronger to tank without VL OR kill better on PvP.

Choose one (or both ::)) and do something about it.

Its pretty obvious, esp with MS if you hit 7k+ mana you're going to need pot like what, 6 times? An improvement in agony that would restore 100% mp with one agony would make it so that you could restore all that in about a second. That would mean you have the mp to use ES more efficiently which could help you out.

 

It is already on the development list that MGS will get 1 v 1 improvements, and they also have amplify in t5. Your last point seems kind of moot with that in mind.

just make a new super mana pot. one that give more mana then the others so mage dont need to use 9 pots to full 1 time. i think that would help alot

The problem, gentlemen, is that all we could do is guess.

 

We can't confirm this mp|agony|tanking issue will be addressed with magic source help.

 

 

One more thing:

I have ES lvl 7, and my mana with ms lvl 10 drained way too fast.  So i think the amount of mana gain should be much bigger, to complete the way we expect (mages to pair with other "normal" classes in terms of tanking). But don't do it in magic source. We don't want other classes with infinite mana, it will be a mana version of VL.  To avoid the same mistake it's going on to priestess, do it in mental mastery.

 

disambiguation notes:

It would be nice to have VL atributes do muspell;

Mech should tank better then all other classes.

Amplify

Permanently boosts 1 on 1 final damage.

Affects the final damage inflicted on a target, after all modifiers.

Skill does not affect base stats, effect not seen in character statistics window.

 

Pretty good skill. 138% boost on DR after all.

It basically doubles (plus a half) DR's damage.

 

It's simply a correction of the fact that DR hits only one time.

 

Hope the combination with enchant weapon, execration , forces, and the dancing sword make it feasible damage.

 

+1 point to Wartale.

 

 

I thought one thing. If we use magic source to address magician's tanking, and execration+amplify to address 1 on 1 killing, won't it be too much points to spend?

 

Perhaps magician's tanking be addressed other way, since it seems T5 will address mainly the lack of 1 on 1 power...

This is why you should wait for skills to be released before criticizing them. Big boost to mgs, and @the comment about mage skill points.

 

->Its plenty fair, if you want everything go level up, that is how it should be for any class. Keep in mind on retail we never had so many levels, getting one level 10 t4 skill was an achievement back in my day and you actually had to choose and be smart about what you wanted in a build. People complain leveling doesn't do anything, you still get one shotted in pvp and you run out of useful skills, t5 is perfect justification for leveling being seen on equal grounds with PvP again [since you won't max all 4 regardless]. You should NEVER complain about having too many good skills to choose from, sounds silly when you think of it like that.

 

In short, level up and hf.

No.. boosting mages doesn't mean that pike's get oppressed. It just means that mages can actually be of use in BC now.

i would say its little OP/perfect110% but still, who cares, its reall good, mage can kill 130x at level 120 but randomly / luck

 

mage 1x1 against same level is fairly

 

and mage vs low level, run for ur life, death ray is actually call death ray for a reason

Yeah.. but pikes have been and are still doing that now, in one skill too.

FS, KS as well. I mean, it just means that mages get boosted, but the other classes still get to own people, even if they're not the only ones doing that anymore. I don't knwo about how OP they are, because I haven't went online yet. But I'll see for myself tonight when I get on ;P

Awesome. Mages' and mechs' killing problems are fixed now.

 

The game has never been this close to a real balance.

 

I'll convince Wartale to boost Fighters' AOE now. :P

(they should be at least decent mass killers, otherwise it's not fair to them)
