Complainment about mech new status and it's nerfing

How sure are we that mech abs are really bugged?

 

Months ago, me and Wartale (on old pike Sabotage) at BC. After a whole day killing my mech just to check he says something is wrong and it seems the abs is not working at all

 

So 100% sure. Not even counting the never ending hours playing a mech

also check with a mech hitting a ks and a ms, ms would take much more dmg than ks...

As far my opinion goes,

 

Mechs can tank very nice in PvE due their enormous absorption,

However they dont tank as good as they should be in pvp is due their HP formula.

 

Correct me if im wrong ^^

also check with a mech hitting a ks and a ms, ms would take much more dmg than ks...

 

Variation taken into account with the ks/ms, thats probably not a sufficient test @ meeks.

 

If Gogg/sandurr did sufficient testing for a while I'll trust they knew what they were doing and that it is bugged + I do trust your huge amount of experience in playing mech for a long time. I don't play mech here so I could only make guesses, but even if the bug is fixed, I still think they might need a little something more [who knows if t5 will give that or if we need something different].

T5 is going fine, at least at it's numbers, I guess. Less the Obliteration thing. But there will be adjustments and stuff once all T5 is out... probably that's why nothing happens about pikemans

Baby, if u realized, people care more abt pvp. To be honest ant 3r post, i dont even read them in full because things are the same as it is and players still keep complaining.

 

Yes I do know that people care more about PvP because it is the biggest problem for mechs right now. And I also know that there is more than just one way to build a mech. If you want a particular mech build to be viable, it has to be good enough to be an alternative so that it isn't a Hobson's choice. And this includes both PvP and PvE. Which is why fixing maximize is also part of fixing mechs as you are fixing a build, a way of playing a mech. You need power mechs to be good enough for people to think of choosing them over tank mechs.

 

And since you didn't read 3R's post, that's exactly why you missed out on stuff, and assumed (again) thatwtGMs solve things "ONLY from the outer layer" (to quote you verbatim)

 

Exactly, these are the 4 main ways to play a mech:

 

-> Spark Mech (AOE)

-> Auto Mech (Bow/Javelin)

-> Power Mech (Claw/Hammer; Offensive; can't tank)

-> Tank Mech (Defensive; can't kill)

 

And this is their current situation:

 

-> Spark Mech (AOE): it has always worked fine. No need for drastic changes here.

-> Auto Mech (Bow/Javelin): its damage is still low; will be fixed with Tier 5.

-> Power Mech (Offensive; can't tank): its damage was low and was not gonna get fixed with Tier 5; it's fixed now (after small nerf).

-> Tank Mech (Defensive; can't kill): it's weird and will probably be checked out after Tier 5.

i dont think so in some..

should be add more dmg @fix dmg + lv*4 is to be replace with new lv*X or else formula

got 4 fix dmg each level up is nothing for me..

 

power mech

will go with 2 hand weapon and hammer is not better than spear and sword

i will try to test in spear and sword what better at next time

got 4 fix dmg each level up is nothing for me..

 

300-400+lvl*4 is ok, we out-tank every other class and most higher lvls in PVE (excluding the use of VL). If it were to change, 300-400+lvl*6 should be enough, it doesn't need to be higher than that or it really becomes OP.

A lvl 110 mech does 740-840 per spark, unlimited targets and is affected by the speed mix and SOD crown (+1 weapon speed) add them all together and you have an char that can't be killed and can kill fairly fast in most maps.

 

 

To my understanding, might be a bit wrong thou...

Abs = a reduction in dmg taken from a hit.

Def = the difference between an opponent's AR and your def is the chance if you getting hit (best way I can think of putting it)

 

I have about 3k def, but someone with 1.2k AR seems to hit me fairly easily and I don't get many [Defense] flash up. So maybe both Def and Abs is bugged in PVP

i dont need mech to be mass aoe killer

but the real mech aoe dmg is too low

like FS should be add aoe skill dmg , MS too

 

fix dmg is'nt work when high level map all known.

but the real mech aoe dmg is too low

like FS should be add aoe skill dmg , MS too

 

fix dmg is'nt work when high level map all known.

 

I find it okay when I grind in ad2 with my mech, but I'm usually with someone else :).

But I really don't find a problem with spark, I think it's fine

As I did say, current Spark damage is ok, but if it were to change. Then lvl*6's the MAX it should go to.

 

Of cause it seems "weak" at higher lvl maps, mobs are stronger. So go from a Spark mech to power/tank/hybrid, boost your 1vs1 skills

aoe boost for mech should be on impulsion, not at spark. 15 units max attack with % based wpn dmg should be fine. % should be a bit less than ks brandish since both charas got same stats etc..

 

if also tested spark in ad2, its not! unlimited. if u wont believe me, try on ur self. take solo hs, lure mobs together and attack 1x witb spark. when u check with curser ull see that not every mob got dmg. but hey, spark crits so u can mature ur wpn with spark in ad2 ;)

when a 11x ms with spear hits me, 125 mech, i go down with 1 gs

same 11x ms hits ks same lvl, equal equip and he wont go down with 2gs

A few tests is not sufficient, also I said feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, since mech is not my forte. Gogg already said he did extensive testing with sandurr and I said I'd trust that, so it does seem to be a bug.
