this game is pvp or pve ?

is that game is pve or pvp ?

 

for me that game is 90% pve, and i will say why i think that.

 

1. from the beggining of the creation of that game its about slash, xp, slash, xp, level, gear, hunt money for gear or hunt gear, slash, xp.....etc

2. not every class is usefull in pvp, i.e. :back in time char like mage was only use for distortion on bridge and only at siege.

3. every char have his pro and his con, but all pro and con are for pve i.e. : when hunting a archer can be nude but still can hunt cause wolf take damage for her so archer can max agi to make more damage and wear a stupid soccer shirt (so less str for armor), but atlanta or any without char without tanker pet must balance stats to wear correct gear to be able to tank the monsters.

4. this game is multi country game that may cause delay between player (nearest you are from server fastest is the answer of the server). so you can use this very small delay to be (or think you are) better.

5. this is a donation systeme game, so donator vs non donator will never be the same, try to get all gear 120 + 20 without donation, lol i would like to see someone non donator do that haha.

6. i.e. : pike 125 with all gear donated + 20 vs pike 125 100% same gear, both with all same skill, the winner is only cause of his play skill (pot, skill, run etc..) but when you have difference in char, level, skill, build, answer delay from server etc..... be ready to have a fight not 100% equitable, so dont cry to be equal its not and never will be.

 

 

so i could say more but its only my points of view (and i could say more), this game is pve, and if you want to pvp you can cause this game let you enter bless castle when there is no siege but you know all difference  between player so if you get kill by a char with all pro for pvp dont cry and screem for balance.

p.s. iam a mech 104 on this server (yeah i read all post regarding maximise) and i got pike 12x on unique, and i play pritson tale since 2003 so i know what iam talking about.

So what if its more pvp or more pve? Is there a point you're trying to prove? Just curious lol.

 

I believe this game, in terms of features is more pve than pvp. But ultimately, you choose how you want this game to be. If you want to haang out at BC all day, then its obviously gonna be more pvp than pve. Likewise if u choose to exp/hunt all day, then its gonna be more pve than pvp.

 

No doubt you need to pve to pvp effectively, but that's the way it is, in PT or in other games.

lol you dont see cause you are never crying for balance in pvp, you play and accept your char with his pro and con. i just say if you cry about balance for pvp, i think you are not playing the good game for you. remember you can play this game solo at home with your own server without pvp and its still the same game, pvp is just a + for some players, but for me its useless cause its a pve game

The point I got from the poster was, Why is most everything about PvP when those same skills everyone wants ballanced affect PvE also. For better or worse, every change for PvP has an effect on PvE, yet no one discusses it. (i.e. is it harder to hunt, or xp, when these skill are changed?) Are they a viable replace or alternative to another skill? And so on.... PvE is where you start and where you go to pt and sod. So it would seem that PvE is 2/3 of the game and PvP is only 1/3. But in balance PvP > PvE.

 

Or I'm wrong, and should gtfo

I don't think PvP is always the true test of balance, but you certainly have a lot of truth behind what you're saying. We will always have to take both aspects into consideration to do proper balancing, so dismissing one or the other is pointless but people can tend to do that.

I don't "cry" for balancing pvp?

I'm fighting to balance Archers in PVP for months -,-

You can see that on  "Development [Archer]" and on "Archers skill balance" topcis.

 

Pristontale isn't only PVE, its stupid to play to get better without PVP... what are you leveling for then? I'm leveling to get better and hunting to get better gears so I can kill other players
