Hi guys,

On and off PT player here. I love playing a variety of characters and exploring their differences. I mainly play for fun and don’t pay much attention to stats. However, MS is the only char I have never touched and i’m a little confused with all the things that people talk about. He seems technical. If you don’t mind answer a few points i have here itd be much appreciated!

1. What are the difference style of MS? Specifically what is a spark or auto ms?

2. I plan to main another character (AS, mgs, or ATA is my fav), but it’s getting exponentially harder as i lvl up due to low def. Should I create a tank MS for my main to leech off and lure as many people talk about?
3. How do you find Ms spec gears for his large variety of builds?

4. Is he fun in hunting/xp parties? He just seems so essential that it kinda suck out the fun of challenging for me but who knows

thank you in advanced!

1- You can have:

- Auto mech = basically full agility and you can use bow or jav (most mechs use bow) (here you'll avoid armor, shield, trying to focus all your stats points on agility, only putting the essential points in intelligence, strenght and talent);

- Tanker = Not sure, but basically you use armor + shield (aged), a normal claw or xmas claw (gives +10 abs). About stats I guess you can put necessary stats for use armor, shield and set and what you have left you can go for vitality if you want to.

- Spark Mech = Never played with, sorry ?;

2- Yep, thats what most people who start here do. Create a mech to tank for their main killer (if you create a shaman, it already has a lure skill which may help a lot in this lure thing);

3- It's realy easy, now you'll probably see more bows to mechs than to archers due to Shadow Sanctuary. But I'm a bit off from game market, dont know if it changed that much. About others gears they were kindda easy to find last time I played.

4- Hunting:  best char in game to hunt with auto build, but in shadow sanctuary you'll need for sure have a prs or someone to tank for you.

XP Parties: at CT3 and DIQ you'll probably tank or lure only.

I'm not a specialist on mechs but I have a general idea of how he works. In my view there are 3 basic styles for mechs here in Wartale: Spark, Full Tank and Auto.

The Spark MS focus on all the lightning-related skills for leveling up early in the game. You'll be able to tank hellspawns and also deal a fair amount of damage, but not as strong as other damage classes. The main spells you should train are Spark (for active damage dealing), Spark Shield and Magnetic Spheres (which will passively attack monsters), Metal Armor, Physical Absorption and Compulsion for increased defense and absorption, and Mechanic Weapon Mastery and Maximize for increased damage. Metal Armor chains the buff from Phys. Abs., so you just have to use that. However, they do not work with Maximize, so you have to choose. If you can tank just fine by just using Spark Shield and Compulsion, go for Maximize and you'll be a fair damage dealer. Some people prefer Impulsion over Spark for damage, it's up to you. Use available gear and check if you cant tank properly, if not, invest some point in vitality instead of strength. As you said, if you want to just leave him in the middle of the hellspawn and just rebuff every now and then while killing with another character, that's great too.

Full Tank MS I guess are more common at higher levels, 13x+, where you focus on being almost full vitality (only base stat for proper gear) and focus on other defensive skills as well, such as Extreme Shield. I'm not familiar with this one but I've heard of it.

As an Auto MS you will instead focus on using a two-handed bow or sometimes a javelin and a shield, training automation and precision for 1v1 (mainly hunting) and your metal golem to tank for you. Full dex for max damage, and you just auto-attack mobs down. No need to worry about armor, people normally use costumes. You can reset your mech into an autoMS whenever you want, but I guess it's recommendable to do it after you're able to access good hunting maps, maybe 14x+.

I guess this is all I know about MS, and if other players with more experience found anything wrong please correct me!

Have fun!

BigFoot

in my opinion, don't think about auto ms until you get level 144 to enter SS map.
you can play spark mech to level 132 and tanker from 132 to 144 because spark mech too weak in this level.
