babyarcher 0 Report post Posted June 6, 2011 How are people liking their mechs after this recent patch? Thinking of trading for one Hunt/PVP/XP Hunting goes a little slower, but its still better than before. I don't hunt much with mechs so I can't say much here. XP builds don't really have much change as xp build doesn't involve maximize, basically you can tank everywhere without VL, and spark is pretty decent aoe even in ad2. PVP, heh. Down to 160% you no longer one hit most classes unless they're archers, or significantly weaker than you are. But you get 1 hitted by FS/PS, 2 hitted by mages/knights/atas. So, yeah. In terms of PVP mechs are still kinda bummed cuz of the abs issue.

Haven 0 Report post Posted June 6, 2011 SO prolly not worth trading a FS for MS huh?
babyarcher 0 Report post Posted June 6, 2011 SO prolly not worth trading a FS for MS huh? I wouldn't. But that's cuz I have other chars to play with. If I want to hunt I can log on an archer, same for exping, I can just leech the fs with the archer. Thing with mechs is that you need to choose a build to suit your purpose. Pvp- power mech, xp - spark mech. If you want to hunt as auto mech, you need to go auto as well. A lot of pps crystals involved.
TripleR 0 Report post Posted June 6, 2011 Mech is awesome. You can even solo SoD if you have godly gear. If you like to SoD, mech would be better than Fighter.

davv 2 Report post Posted June 6, 2011 so u have to choose for: pvp = power hunt = auto xp = spark power is a great option for hunting and when precision comes out, auto might be good for pvp aswell, who knows the only option u have is to play hybrid mechs, otherwise u need a lot of pp skill crystals... doing a good hybrid mech can be difficult, there are alot of possible options mech is a 100% versatile class, that's what makes it awesome... if you know how to do it right
davv 2 Report post Posted June 6, 2011 yeah, hybrid mechs were build that made sense back in early ept days but it's hard to stay competitive with such a build on rpt. ill do some testing later when precision is out

Anything is better than fighter Question about last patch is probably about changes, isn't it? Maximize is good PvP keep sucking as always
uok_vn 0 Report post Posted June 9, 2011 With 12x mech, you can build: - Power + Spark: for train and PVP - Power + Auto : Hunt and PVP (need reset stat 550k ) - Auto + Spark : Hunt and train (Need reset stat, too 550k ) But, in BC is still..................weak

I still think going pure power or pure spark is best depending on what you want. But it gets very costly cuz you need to restat alot.
koleo 0 Report post Posted June 22, 2011 I still say that mechs need a finality skill. If they don't get one for t5 then there is no chance they can stand up to other classes in BC.
