3TB 0 Report post Posted June 6, 2011 Hi, I heard armors lose defense points when deaging? Say the armor got 500 def and it becomes 510 after aging. And then try to age it again but it deages. The def be lower than 500 then? Like 499 or 498 or 497?

3TB 0 Report post Posted June 6, 2011 :'( This doesn't apply to shields or weapons, does it? Or def on shields can go lower when deaging? So, how does this list mean? http://www.realmpt.com/aging Is it like, 4% chance of failure = 4% deage or break? or 4% chance of failure = 4% deage and 4% break? babyarcher 0 Report post Posted June 6, 2011 I believe its 4% deage or break. But most of the time it breaks
HanJie 0 Report post Posted June 6, 2011 This only happens to items with % increase with age, so like armor/robe/orbs
Rkokie 6 Report post Posted June 6, 2011 I believe its 4% deage or break. But most of the time it breaks Lol depends on your luck, I got deage a few times but no breaks yet
Setsuna 0 Report post Posted June 6, 2011 if i remember correctly it works like this: lets say you age your armor with 500 def. You will get +5% making it 500 * 1,05 = 525 def. Now if you deage -1 lvl it calculates 525 * 0,95 = 498,75 causing your armor to lose 1 or 2 defense points (even more if your armor has more def or you deage -2) . The formula for deaging should be 525 / 1,05 = 500 again.
babyarcher 0 Report post Posted June 6, 2011 I believe its 4% deage or break. And feipo broke at +18/19 so many times. Haha
khenshin 0 Report post Posted June 6, 2011 it can only break with 20% or more failing chance, aging stone or not. however, with copper ore it only deages after 20%.
babyarcher 0 Report post Posted June 6, 2011 it can only break with 20% or more failing chance, aging stone or not. however, with copper ore it only deages after 20%. So you mean if I use copper ore for +9, it'll definitely succeed? Or there's still a chance of deaging?
davv 2 Report post Posted June 6, 2011 yes, failing includes de-aging and breaking.

So you mean if I use copper ore for +9, it'll definitely succeed? Or there's still a chance of deaging? With copper it can de-age with stone no chance of fail/deage to +9 What I see people do is 9-13 use stone 13+ use copper.. I myself like copper from 15+ but I've broken stuff doing that and I've managed to get to 18 with copper ore.. If it's weapon or shield keep trying with copper as you can always rake in gold
Tonberry 0 Report post Posted June 6, 2011 yes, failing includes de-aging and breaking. Fail item = item breaks, item still perfect although the item is gone..
rptps 1 Report post Posted June 7, 2011 +1 - +11 : Do not need any stone or copper +11 - +13 : Sometime ur item is de -aged. +13 - +20 : Need aging stone.I personally don't use Copper cuz Copper might not prevent Item from breaking. However, on wbs, it said Copper can prevent item from breaking. Im not sure Im right or infor on wbs is right. BTW , always take SS of time you click " + " button specially with 120 items in cases for recovery purpose and make sure you have a spared one just in case. ;D
Gogg 3 Report post Posted June 7, 2011 Got to laugh about these theories over aging stone and copper ore Don't try to turn your luck into the truth behind the use of those items. +9 with copper ore, yes, can deage. +18 with copper ore? Lucky. I've seen +20 with aging stone, so what?
