which skill is best for hunting??

i'm a spark mech lvl 101, this is my current build:

PA lv 10

Spark lv 10

Grand Smash lv 10

Mechanic weapon mastery lv 3 (going to 10)

Spark shield lv 10

Compulsion lv 10

Magnetic sphere lv 9 (going to 10)

 

however, i have realized that, at least at this lv, my grand smash at lvl 10 does the same amount of damage as my spark :S and it misses a lot, so it is not very useful for hunting, as i had expected it to be... so my question is:

 

do you think i should redistribute and put the 10 points of grand smash into automation, so i become a spark-auto mech hybrid or something like that?? i mean is it useful to have automation on lvl 10? (also, since i cant use automation together with MA, im afraid my abs would be too low)

 

also, i have 100 agility, although im planning on putting all 10 stat points in it for at least 5 lvls, but anyways, do you think automation at lv10 is stronger or weaker than grand smah at lv 10? since i cant use any skills with a spear, only automation, im afraid it will be just as useless as grand smash....what do you think??

I do not play a mech and i am not a specialist, but if u want to hunt, u should use maximize wich adds +160% atk power

And then use Grand Smash, that will be much better than spark

(spark is a trash)

Also your mechanic weapon mastery is lv 3, IT MUST BE 10

 

 

Spark's dmg does not change with forces or buffs, t, then GG is much better

Yeah spark mechs suck for hunting.

 

Only reason grandsmash does such little damage is cuz you don't have maximize, and you're prolly hp build (?)

 

Go full str, and maximize with MWM, you'll kill a little faster.

but keep in your mind the fact you wont be able to tank well like you did untill now.. for your lvl i would continu in spark mode (just without the grand smash) max spark shield instead... you can still lvl properlly as a spark mech.    maximize, grand smash, and mwm are for power mech and i suggest you considering it again... am i right?

Nop, not right

 

Mech tank on PvE anyway. On xp maps mobs don't even touch your HP, on hunting you don't even need to tank as you got Metal Golem

 

But yea, hunting sucks. I'd say it's a waste of time trying hunting before 12x

My Lv 114 Power Mech build. Hunt Mechs are, in most case, Power Mechs

 

T1-T3

Mechanic Weapon Mastery Lv 10 - Must

Great Smash Lv 10 - Must

Maximize Lv 10

Spark Shield Lv1~10 OR Extreme Shield Lv 1~10 (When Wartale fix it, use Extreme Shield coz it works with 2 hands exactly as Knight ABS increase with Godly Shield)

Spark Lv1~Lv10

 

OBS: Hunt mechs are power or hibrids. There is no point making a Tanker Mech for hunt, coz youre going to use Golem as a Tanker for you. But, still, you'll need to level up, and, to avoid reset your skills and training all over again when you'll go exp, sacrifice one of the Shield Skills and Lv up Spark, for you main AoE skill. But, you'll be a power Mech, you'll need to ask for VL, like any other class. BUT, if you want to keep your shield skills, you can leave Spark as a LV1 and max Impulsion... but it static damage is lower than Spark, i don't recomend this. But, if you dont bother changing stats and skills and train all over and over, then, max out your shield skill and do not waste points on Impulsion.

 

 

T4

Compulsion Lv 10 - Must (your main tanking skill, do not EVER forgot to max this skill and re-use it when it's finishing. When EXP with a Power Mech and this skill runs out, your HP will drop to 0 instantly)

Golem Lv1~Lv10 (it will be your main tanking object to hunt. It's up to you to max your toy)

Magnet Sphere Lv1~10

Impulsion Lv 1~10 (explained before)

 

 

 

 

 

 

Your stats will be the enough to use your current lv set of itens, like weapons, armors and shields, brac, boots, gaunt and rings/amulets. The rest will go to Strenght.

 

Always use Mechanic Spec /1 Weapons and bracs.

 

I like to use Swords as 2 Hand weapons coz it have more MIN DMG and Critical, also AGED Swords gain Critical Increase from each Age lvl, unlike Hammers

We need to wait... But, honestly, i dont think Auto Mechs will surpass Power mechs... Just a gut feeling.

They're already almost the same on hunting, taking in consideration the killing speed. So yea, get your bows and javelins ready to hunt

 

Got to disagree with the sword idea as 2h weapon. Swords worth on PvP because they're the highest critical weapon, but the worst on attack power. Their minimum damage is higher than scythes only, and their maximum damage is the lowest over all meele weapons

 

For hunting I'd pick up hammers. With maximize they got the highest average damage, and as they got higher attack rating, wich is really important on hunting with a power mech

Hammers is /7 Spec DMG increase, plus Hammers dont get any Critical increase... Swords is /6, and 0,5 of critical per age Lv. Even /6 isn't enought to outdmg hammers, but, the final critical rate is worth, since Swords have high min damage, improving Maximize skill gap between min and max

I think auto mech it better than for (only) hunting. Still wait for tier 5 :(

Power mech is tank better when hunt and can PvP. but in et3, tank no meaning :D, and in BC mech still so weak to....die ^_&

Min damage

hammer > sword, but almost the same

 

Max damage

Hammer> sword, there comes the difference

 

 

Worth more not missing than critical on hunting. Hammer + rate, sword + crit

Mechs don't crit that much, doesn't matter the item. To beat down huge HP the hammer do better. Sword fits PvP, where a critical can really be critical and lead to kill as players got a lot less HP than a moster plus they can pot

Hammer 120 (perf) + att rate: 97-128

Axe (perf) +att rate: 109-121

Sword (perf) + att rate and crit: 96-114

 

Axe may be good, too :D

Axe = lower average damage, lower critical, lower block, lower attack rating. They suck at all for mechs
