How does moon hunter work?

First login since 2010, been reading about this moon hunt stuff that supposedly might assist my characters in lvling up.

I have a 8x mage and 8x knight, managed to find one guy selling a moon hunter stone for 2kk. 

Now 2kk is practically all my money, and it will only last 3 hours?

 

Can I start the moon hunter at night - kill the mobs - then log off and go do things on another acc untill its night and then - log back in for moon hunter?

The timer stops?Will I make the money back in that time if i just play for 3 hours?

Id like to get the most out of it as you can tell.

 

any tips and tricks welcome.

Yeah, timer stops when you are offline and even when you are in town.

Moon Hunter pays off extremely fast, don't worry about it. And just like cux said, it doesn't count when your are offline or in town.

You can go any city and the counter stops (it turns red so its off) take an ether core with you, its faster than logging on and off, you can put a timer on ur phone. The best way to use moon is with loot filter, its 2.75kk on premium shop,  you turn on the gold, premiums and crystals when u go moon hunting. I understand you have limited gold so leave me a nick and I'll send some to you. Btw I suggest since u are 8x you may try to go to ct2 or iron lands and pick the gold monsters drop, its 5-7k each monster and you can manage to make a lot in few time even without filter. 

Go to a map and stay on big spawns like morion forests, mystery forests, etc or any map with a decent amount of monsters that you can kill fast. The best places to use it are oasis (houses), battlefield of ancients (north to the entrance 1, entrance 2), cursed land and forgotten land (not that good). Those are usually taken, but if you manage to get one of those you make a lot more.

I figured that out at battlefield of the ancients, nice spawn but am i not getting any good loot or just not seeing it amongst all the other items?

So i went to atlantis, and drew 2 hopy spawns together, i could get 2 ''rounds'' per night, used up half the moonhunter stone and gotten 3 MP/SP down -25% so far and sold those for 1m each. Already earned the moonhunter back that way and went from 84 to 96 with my KS (IGN: VisualKei ), will probably get to 10x today with the remainder of the stone.

At these hopys i wont need the lootfilter as they only drop coins so that saves me quite some cash.

I went briefly to CT1 but that is where I met mister Typhoon who basically ate my health bar for breakfast so I might hold that off untill I can buy/wear some gear at the mystery desert 1 (lvl 100 stuff).

 

Thanks for the tips, Ill go lvl up some more and see what ill do next, maybe buy another stone for lvling past 100, its going fine so far.
