Hello

Am I the only knight who didn't like the change in the way the skill is used now? ?
Before it was so much more fun, we had more control of the skill. Just release the button and that's it.

That's the change for those who lost:

"Lightning Sword no long requires you to hold the mouse button down, you can cancel it by using any Skill."

PS: And please lazies, don't tell me it's more healthy now...

Holding the right click was extremely tiresome over prolonged period of play. A simple click requires much less physical force than holding down the rightclick for full 8~9 seconds. I'm sure that players with hand conditions like tendonitis felt pain overtime, or, could develop the condition furthermore.

To counter that, i've used the old trick of holding down the right click then dragging the mouse outside of the screen. Now this trick isn't possible anymore, since it got fixed some patches ago.

The level of control just improved. You can literally cancel the skill as soon as possible, even before the first lightning bolt. Also, the control of the skill itself poses very rare use-cases, mostly being on PvP. 90% of the time you simply want to fully cast the skill.

Also holding down the click has it's problems. For example, If someone has a malfunctioning mouse, the skill could be cancelled even if you didn't released the click. So to counter that, you have to buy a new mouse or simply apply more physical force, tiring you even faster.

And yeah, it is more healthy. I hardly have any pains on my hand after prolonged playtime. Much more healthier indeed, and I wish the change could've been happened since the skill release.

The best thing of the new change is the fact that now I can actually play at full screen. Windowed mode was a requirement due to the dragging outside trick, but windowed mode on any game simply sucks. It has input lag, forced adaptative vsync (under windows 10) that simply stutters the image because the in-game renderer doesn't use vsync, and the performance isn't the best possible (CPU and GPU resources are shared with desktop stuff).

In fact, I must agree with you.

I also thought about the difficulties. I just thought their weight would be small, as you exemplified some compared to holding the button.

Anyway, I was wrong and I was selfish.
