best ranged hunter

i wat to be a lazy hunter in et3 (less hp potting) so i was wondering what char has it the easyest (of the rangers)

archer is i think the weakest hunter but has teh wolf to tank for her

the atatlanta i know hurts like hell but has no tank pet (i dont know is the chimeara tanks)

but the auto mech has the highest absorbtion and def and has a golem

Well

Mech - doesnt need pots, he just auto attack the monster, and golem tanks so it's kinda relax hunting

Ata - Have to pot somtimes and idk who kill faster

Archer - Doesn't have to pot much because Avalanche is 6 shots for 64 mana, Wolf can tank but Xetan can 1shot you and Wolf somtimes just stand there and watch you die (kinda bugged)

 

So just get a prs if you wanna hunt

Archers IMO make for better hunting. They have slightly higher damage, but if another mob pops up behind them, they're more or less screwed (especially if its a Xetan).

 

Atas on the other hand have slightly lower damage, but they have much more survivability. Especially since their pet gives them HP as well.

I'd say with the addition of chimera, go for Ata as a ranged hunter. If anything, it would be only the slightest bit worse than the other ranged hunters, for more survivability and being superior in other aspects of the game.

but ok to please you, on hunting I prefer archer cuz the wind arrow attack speed. But as a con, it dies fast.

Ata n ars, both are good, but i prefer ata . 5 HP pots for 4-5 hours hunting and neither of them needs a tanker.

I remember there was a topic not inwtforum ( uPT maybe) said that using pets( pets form skills and crystals) decreased the drop rate, Im not sure, but that's why i didnt use pets when hunting
