@Senpai pls, do something like this to ask about last SW (20 min duration). 

 

Ask your comunity about skills in SW (AOE-1vs1), duration time, score system ... Imo last SW was so dissapointing! This is te most cool wartale event. A lot of preparation. ppl buying premiums items, sol forces, scroolls, changing builds, talking about strategy and then .... 20 min.

It would be a good idea if, starting with the removal of mules, a balancing project involving all classes started, since the meta would change a lot.

 

@Soijyro 

Siege War was supposed to be a fantastic event, unfortunately these changes are only making the quality of the event worse.

 

I don't say in terms of results, because if WS made the same effort from yesterday, but in the fun format of Siege War, we would have lasting and quality events.

 

Disabling skills will never be the path x.x'

 

Now we have a Siege War where no one kills anyone, it makes no sense for me to stand side by side with my rival, hitting a tower in a completely friendly way...

 

Buuuuuut Staff seems to be paying more attention in terms of balance now, this is great, I believe that soon we will have quality events as before, and a much more fun PvP!

 

It is very annoying to have to abandon my friends to rebuff in safe zone. @ >> @

I just have a different opinion on class balancing. I don't think this is necessary or fun! Some classes should be better in 1x1 combat, like PS and FS, others better when there are a large number of people and they can use the advantages of speed and invisibility, like AS / ASS / ATA for example, others can be good in all possibilities with great defensive and offensive resources like KS / MS and others have skills that work as support / debuff or as auxiliaries for specialist classes like PRS / MGS. The classes are, in my opinion, balanced (or close to be), they are just not equal and many people here ask for balance believing that all classes must have equal conditions in pvp/pve. I don't think it should be this way.

 

A priest should never kill like a PS and a PS should never be able to buff or support anyone. And so on...

I dont agreed for you. Mgs is the most powerfull damage in one MMORPG... Your ideia is transform one killer in support for distortion and mule of vitality ???   No my friend i´m so sorry,its will not happen. 

 

Its a insane and brainless think. I agreed with you in the points of PS/FS ,etc... etc.... But Mage is a support for you ??? Only because he have 1 skill in one set of 20 skills he is support for you ?????

Im playing with Prs and As in this moment and i don't think As should be better than a FS in a 1x1 condition. I dont think prs should be better than PS and As too...if, in a way, I can't beat an FS in a 1x1 condition with an AS, in a war condition with many players, I can use it to attack from a distance, with a high volume of damage, move fast in a large area (like inside the castle) and I have advantages that the melees do not have (including PVE). MG is the best class in PVE, high volume of damage, amazing tanker, can grant buffs to himself and others, can emit high area damage in  SW (and therefore I do not agree with the reduction of AOE in SW, because harms magic characters), can do large volumes of damage in the towers, it's incredible for Bellatra as you can see here, the top 4 in the ranking are Mages (7 out of the top 10 are MG):

Well if staff decides that MG should be better on PVP, great, i will not complain. But if Mages starts to kill like a hell in PVP, i think Fighters and Pikemans should start to tank like Gods in PVE/PVP too ...  Do you see the problem?  Lets make tanker rangers with "flame wave skills" to let them leader Bellatra? 

 

If the balance follows the individual desires of each player, then the balance should make all classes the same and this, in addition to not making sense, is impossible, because the skills framework of the classes promote different characteristics to each of them and advantages and disadvantages that they cannot be removed with what you call "balancing". What happens is that if you change something here, you unbalance something there, if you change something there, you unbalance something here and so on.


Today we have some classes that are better in PVP (1x1), others that are better in pvp (War), others that can be good on both, but not the best, Others that are better on bellatra, others that are better to PVE, a class that can be used for tank and other that can be used to support killers, several different classes that make you have to think about what is the best formation of a PT for a given event (DIQ, Shadow Sanc, PVP, Bellatra, SW ...) all require different formations because the objectives and the way to achieve them are differents.

But today,FS/PS can deal lots of damge in AOE. If dont know,PS can take 2.7kk in Round 3 on SOD. And MG lvl 160 only 2.4/2.5 ... So PS is more strong them MG at ROUND 3. FS crit in AOE... etc etc etc.... 

 

Ass deal lot's of damage in AOE,and have a INCREDIBLE HIT-N-RUN in PVP... sometimes one ASS deal 6.000 DMG in PVP,is scared!

MG now dont tank ANY! One PS lvl 140 do HK i'm my MG lvl 155 8.414 defense and 340 of ABS....  So mg dont tank very well. Is a fragile char. If you can tank 1 player in pvp you need use 450+ of vitality.  

 

Now,MG dont deal DMG in AOE in SW if lat's 6 weeks our maybe 8 weeks of changed's ... MG now dont deal DMG in AOE,dont pick BPS,and is useless.

Before doing any change specifically for Bless Castle, I think all PARTY buffs should work the same. Since the release of Shaman and Assassin, we have such buffs working in different ways:

Archer's Force of Nature and Atalanta's Triumph of Valhalla/Hall of Valhalla: You cast it and all nearby players, even if they are not in your party, gets that buff and they stay buffed even if they walk away from caster.
Knight's Holy Valor: You cast it and only party members in a 210 area gets that buff, and they stay buffed even if they walk away from caster.
Priestess's Divine Force: You cast it and all party members within XP range gets that buff, you leave party and they stay buffed even if they walk away from caster.
Assassin's Alas and Shaman's Advent Migal/Advent Midranda: You cast it and it works like an aura for party members, they must remain in a certain area near the caster to keep the buff on them, being an area of 380 for Assassin and 220 for Shaman.

 

My suggestion is to make all those buffs work the same as Assassin and Shaman's auras. 
This way you make those characters more useful for party, forcing players to have more diversity on parties if they want to have such buffs, not simply leaving them as buff mules and keeping on party only the highest DPS classes.


As some already suggested, you'll need a different combination of party members to otimize your damage, so it encourages to play other classes than Knight for PvP and Mech for Exping, for example. Instead of having tanker/buffer mules, you'll need active players playing their role, as it's supposed to be in a MMORPG.


As for Bless Castle, adding to Party Aura format, Safe Zone could work the same as any Town, having all skills shut off and only able to cast skills in battle zone.

Can you show the link of this "manual"? It can be interesting ... I never heard about something like this! 

 

I don't think MG is useless ... "useless" is a strong word to refer such an amazing class! And if MG don't tank a PS 140, don't feel frustrated cause almost classes can't tank a PS in pvp. My As 15x can be hit killed for a PS 13x ... And im ok with it, cause i can also hit kill PS 16x... Its a metter of oportunity or condition. 

 

IMO ASS/FS/PS should be "scary" as you said ... This what they were made for ... They are priority PVP classes! 

 

Wartale is kind of diferent in this question ... Cause i know u are telling something that we got used... Mages used to be the most OP classes in others MMORP that i played, but it doesn't mean that will be same here. As i said ... If Wartale guys decide to make a new OP MG to follow this kind of "RPG culture" i will not complain ... I just think this stuff of balance is a Utopia that lives in some players mind and its not something that should be chased. 

 

I agree that Rangers need to be improve in their capabilities on PVE, Ass/ps/fs too. Also MG could be better in PVP. There are some adjustment that could be done ... "balance" is not necessary!

Its just facking sad to see everytime someone dies they take the time to switch between 450 mules to give them buffs and if thats not all, they think that they are actually good... please remove the mule buffs and show your raw talent in pvp.

PvP sucks, PvE sucks, only Flamewave forever in DiQ or getting stuck in Iron Core solo cry

 

I main MG, so stop telling me MG is okay in Wartale. There was a time I chose to forever farm CT3 because SL and SS sucks for MG, now CT3 is gone too.

As some already suggested, you'll need a different combination of party members to otimize your damage, so it encourages to play other classes than Knight for PvP and Mech for Exping, for example. Instead of having tanker/buffer mules, you'll need active players playing their role, as it's supposed to be in a MMORPG.


As for Bless Castle, adding to Party Aura format, Safe Zone could work the same as any Town, having all skills shut off and only able to cast skills in battle zone.

I was main MG 155 till 157 too... I do not agree. 

 

MG is the best on PVE. With staff 142 it is the #1 fast shadow sanc killer. To play solo, it is the most confortable class. 

 

Ppl here are funny... A lot of "experts"...

finally a mage player on forum who acknowledge how powerful he is atm, every week there's a pointless and somehow useless post with unrealistic DPS buffs for mage [ meteorite like press deity, death ray doing more damage than flame wave] and totally ignoring a mage 130 doing 54kk sod score.

jaja Mage is 2nd best killer in 1 v 1 bro PVE..  Just use Summer and make the fire elemental tank for you.. I dont know why your saying mage sucks in PVE kkkkkkkkkkkkk i can even tank round 7 Sod with summer +24 + 1hand wand + orb ?

Omg... you sure this ?   For MG is right now the clas number 3 in PVE in SL/SS . But the problem here is not  the PVE,is comparing with MS/AS/ATA  MG is the ONLY RANGER IF DONT KILL ANY THING IN PVP.

 

Its the only problem for MG.  Ms kill so well and tank a lot in BC/SW,AS is INSANE with your 2.000 + dmg per/phoenix and ATA now kill so fast with buffs in patch 5193 in your skill attack,now she deal 105% more DMG in PVP.

 

 

MG now ,dont tank well in PVE,and in PVP he's so weak in this aspec. MG should   be a good class in PVP,but honestly he's the most weak class and more vulnerable in PVP now.  AS tank more them one MG,ATA tank more, etc,but this char have a good dmg.

 

 

So,for me one buff in MG in DR in your dmg to 80 > 135% and your attack rating 40% > 90% resolve this problens.

MG don't tank well in PVE? I do not have time for this anymore ... MG is the best tanker in PVE (who does not renounce to kill). If you and the other guy think it should be better just make a topic asking for improvements.

I fine,for me MG dont need tank,he's only need damage,because one MG is this no ?  Only full damage. I have 8.500 /340 abs and i dont tank any thing in SS whitout  VL.. but its dont metter.
