Power Mech is no longer a viable build

Before this patch, power mech could do more damage than a Knight, at the expense of tankability.

 

Now, power mech not only do less damage than all other melee classes, but also tank less than all other melee (knight included).

 

Also, the T5 tree, looks overpower for most classes, but very crappy for mech (except for trine shield)

 

Not to mention extreme shield which, many people say is not working.

 

I want to know what do you guys feel about your mechs in pvp, this was just my 2 cents.

dmg output is still ok. try using ma with gs and after that maxi with gs, u will feel the difference. tank ability in pvp is still the same = no tank ability overall. u tank everything with ur hp. only difference is equipping a shield where u also can feel a difference.

t5 skills fits mech with 100%. there is a auto skill, a suppurt skills (trinity shield), a tank skill (reduce grp dmg, will come in hand since vl is fixed), and a power skill (obli, which hopefully will be usefull)

extreme shield works as good as abs works right now. i should have about 46% with my gear but it looks like only my shield blocks, not my skill...

 

if abs/skill bugs would be fixed mech would be great. dmg is now reduced far enough. mechs just should be something like near immortal in pvp, pve, sod etc

i though sandurr fixed the mech abs bug? hm..maybe not. Well i'm not a mech but sandurr changed the formula of abs to from 0.3 to 1 which i think its good though. And the patch info also said he fixed the mech abs bug

Before that, we were 'decent', not the best at it, but able to compete.

 

50% mech weapon mastery was PERFECT.

 

And what people dont understand is that, +100 dmg buff for knight or fighter means actually +200 dmg, because it increases their minimun damage as well. While maximize only increases maximun dmg. Thats why 200% maximize was competitive.

 

Now Mechs are a handicap class.

And what people dont understand is that, +100 dmg buff for knight or fighter means actually +200 dmg, because it increases their minimun damage as well. While maximize only increases maximun dmg. Thats why 200% maximize was competitive.

 

Now Mechs are a handicap class.

 

ur math sucks

 

100 dmg on ks adds 100 to min and max, yes

so average dmg is going up by 100, yes

if u only would boost min or max by 100, the average dmg would go up by 50...

mechs maxi boosting it like 200+, so average dmg goes up by 100...

Sometimes when using GS the damage is imperceptible, as well as sometimes it is big.

 

While others are doing damage all the time, mechs seldom do damage.

that is normal, since Maximize on increase max dmg, the range between min and max dmg are way too far apart.

since mech sucks when it comes to crits, maxi is made for that. if u will hit with a high dmg it is mechs crit with which u kill people

Why so worried about the damage, while there are an ancient bug over mech.

 

Screw Maximize and mech's damage, seriously. To kill you got way too many classes. To tank you got none.
