Ice meteorite released

Just seen the damage of lvl 10 ice meteorite 250*(+Wp +Min Wand AP*2) - 275*(+Wp +Max Wand AP*4) and its 10 meteor and 2.0 or something freeze time. What do you think guys? is it good enough?

Have to test it, but judging by the stats, I don't see how it won't be sufficient enough.

Well, first of all, I'm going to assume that it's supposed to be an addition and not multiplication in the formula. Second, this doesn't seem to be the case in-game, where the damage given lacks the spirit and weapon influence. Of course, if it actually was there, it would do insane amounts of damage (upwards 10000 per target each cast), and 2500-2750 per target is not bad. Mage still does more damage and has almost twice the range though, but the priestess gets the freeze effect as well.

It is addition, and the damage per cast seems to be there [at least I think it is].

The skill doesn't work like 10x the damage of each meteorite, although there are 10 of them. They are all spread out, so it just has a massive area, with possibly 2-3 meteorites overlapping each others area at most. So basically, its 1000 damage per cast over a huge area with a freeze effect. Although mage has superior offense [dias hits twice and is probably still stronger, as 1000 damage or so per cast isn't incredibly strong], it seems more fitting for a support class [freezing helps the party], and has a massive area. At best, it would need a very slight damage boost (Given I would like to see how strong the new mage AoE will be as well).

Basically its like this for the area:

  X

X C X X

Where X is a meteorite with 81 area and C is the caster.

Thunderstorm is not better?  (Wp +Min Wand AP *4) - (Wp*2 +Max Wand AP* 8 )

Are you sure that is how it works? I went testing in I1, and it seems pretty consistent with a skill doing 2500-2750 damage per hit (an avelisk there has 2500 HP and some absorb, and it took 2 casts to kill one).

I suppose there is an easy way to check, although it will cost money.

Reset spirit to base spirit, [removing your wand as well and putting on a newbie one with 1-4 damage]. That way you will have lost essentially everything but the static damage [except for 25 damage (base spirit + basic wand)]. If there is essentially no change it is not there, if there is than it is.

For me, I have about 500 spirit and a wand with 100 max, so on my higher end I deal about 1150 per meteorite according to the formula, so two overlapping meteorites would be 2300 damage, which is so close to 2500 so it would be hard to observe.

I'm sure it is not all a single cast area like mage's meteorite, where a designated area it hit 3 times with the damage formula [meteorites are not treated individually]. The area is way too big for it to be 81 area, as I can nearly hit anything within a 175-190ish radius. This makes me believe each meteorite is treated individually and does indeed contain the damage formula, rather than 10x within the same area [which even with 81 area would be ridiculous with the formula, surmounting to some 12k+ damage :P]

Yeah, I did the reset (world, you owe me 550k) and went to forbidden land. Things don't die in a single hit now and seem to take more damage the closer they are to me, so you seem to be correct. Still, a really odd way to implement it, you'd have to do a lot more calculations per cast and gain very little from it that you can't just as well fix by adjusting the damage (or if you desperately want a similar effect for some reason, taking the range from the caster into account).

Oy, gonna be difficult comparing this one against other AoE skills...

the sound is definitely need to be fixed. i mean it! i can't play in peace when i have prs in my party, unless sound off. The animation is excellent but a bit too bright, 2 or more prs= x_x,  play with sound off=ok!, play with ur eyes closed is not so ok...

Main advantage for this skill is there's no limit on targets instead of CL and DL that is really limited for this. It also have a nice animation.

Btw atm in-game formula is 250*(+Wp) - 275*(+Wp)

Then being a low lvl again (90 =/) I can't say if it's really good on highter maps, but atm I like it a lot ^^

You'll probably be 122 before you get L10 ice meteorite anyway. The new damage reduction tier 5 skill (which would be half of the old VL) will most likely take priority. After all, you do no damage if you're dead.

No, in-game are the formula 250(SPR) - 275(SPR) on lv 10

Wp or SPR is the same, I will say spirit if you prefer and understand correctly now.

I didn't get it.

1- Lvl 101 is enough for lvl 10 ice meteorite in order you don't buy the 2 last T5 skills (locked atm so no problems)

2- "The new damage reduction tier 5 skill", hmm where did you see such a skill for prs ?

Divine Force only add attack power

ThunderStorm is another damage skill

Cleansing Light only clean target from all curse

And Ice meteorite ofc, but I don't know where you see that "damage reduction skill" in T5

Cleansing light was changed to Divine Aura, which will be a damage reduction buff in place of this old skill.

this should be fixed. since wand and staff has same damage on skill given, since it based on spirit. meaning, high level wand/staff are useless in here. we will just increase our spirit then. this skill should base on Wand/Staff Attack Power(Min and Max)
