I could care less for the educational aspect.  My assumptions are purely based on the displayed functions.  Didn't exactly read into it too much.  lol  But as far as my personal knowledge takes me, it's closer to C++ than anything I know of.  Suggesting otherwise is...  Lets just say it define's arrogance.  **just sayin' (it was a joke to begin with) //lmfao@highonlifeprogrammers;]

 

Cout and cin are the major reasons to suspect C++, but that's about it. The variable name is invalid (in more ways than one). The if-statement condition is an assignment and not a comparison (though it would compile and will always be true). I was curious if it was some other language, or if it was just some butchered C++-like pseudo code.
