Item Prices at NPCs

Recommended Posts

Glen

I was just wondering how the Item Prices are calculated...I meant the ones for selling some Items at NPCs. I found 120 and 115 Items recently (both NS, both orbs) and now i must see that the actual NPC sell price for the orbs is like 140k. I also had an Extreme Axe (lvl 92!) which was worth 240k at the NPC.

How come a 115 and up item is thaaaaat much less worth than a <100 Item?

Not to whine or whatever, this is just out of curiosity...i am just surprised

As I have no part of the meddling with such things as item prices I cannot say for sure.

However I can post my thoughts on the matter; NPC price of items are of course firstly based on the item type, then on the item spec (NS beeing lowest value) and then on integrity (higher integrity equals higher value).

The item NPC price also affects the prices for aging and/or mixing a weapon; Therefore the NPC price of items above a certain level will not increase as rapidly as you would think if you get my point?

This surely brought some interesting thoughts to mind and may be addressed in the future. (Feel free to make a topic in Suggestions ;) )

As long as integrity is maxed the price is the same regardless of number.

Ex: 92 axe with integrity 135/135 NPC for the same value as 92 axe with integrity 139/139.

As for items go it has always been weapon> all.

I'm assuming when Yedang Online made aging available they wanted weapon to be more valuable than shield/armor.

Maxed out for sure is always nearly the same price. Also not even maxed Integrity makes nearly no difference (but thats not my point) - i repaired the 115 orb just to see the difference and it was like 20-25 points below max. Price went up from 138something k to 139something k - so about 1k.

What my actual point was, how come that High End Items ( i know orbs are pretty much useless, nobody uses them) are so much cheaper than middle game items (8x-9x).

That actually might be true, you got a point there.

That was clear anyway, but Eastern made a good point there - maybe weapons >>>> defenses

well, we will see, maybe this discussion leads somewhere....i might think about something  ;)

Well, When you sell a iten to Npc, for example the Extreme Axe. If it costs 240k, so, if any npc sell this iten, the prize of item on NPC is 240k x 5 = ~1.3kk , so i guess happens it on NPCs itens.

On 'rules' of PT, have a piramid of prizes, and Weapons cost more value on NPC, and orbs n´shield cost minimum value, so Orbs and Shield have low prizes to buy and sell on NPCs.
