Lost Iris Robe?!

So I tried to do the T5 quest today. Got all the materials and paid a fortune for smelting and materials. When I try to upgrade the armor with the stones, I get the message "Not enough space in inventory." And bam, my robe disappeared along with the 3 stones. Checked both inventories and it's not there. Is there any way to recover my robe?! I spent close to 3.5M for everything not to mention wasted my time gathering those materials. I'd hate to think I need to do it over again. Has this happened to anyone?
