I know I have nothing to do with it but,

 

Sorry guys, this is a f shame!

Let's be rational, who did the mistake is who must pay the consequences! Maybe janina could ansewer him and said "no, now its mine!"

or just said "I'll give it back for x gold"

If the citizen what did the mistake is a friend of a GM or he is a high p2p player, its not a reason to interfere!

If GM wanna help him, just give a new shield or the gold he wanted, but why punish who had the chance to win the shield? When the item is once bought, he has a new owner! No one robbed anyone.

What world you guys live? If it happen in the real life, ppl will laugh in your face Mr. Useless and baby cryer!

Next time smoke less marijuana before you open a shop. Sorry for anything, mainly my bad English xD

Heya, 

 

To be honest the decision was fair. 
Since you compare the game as real life, I’ll take my country’s rules as example (France).

If a guy/company sell an item at the wrong price with a huge difference comparing to the real value, the tribulation give reason to the seller & the item have to be returned to him.
What is hard to define is the « huge difference », but in your case I think we can say it’s a huge one aha.

Also, Jenina intentionally moved the item around his/her many accounts to avoid getting caught. Such a shady behavior is part of the reason why (s)he was banned I think.

You've lost 1,5kk gold and the victim have lost 1,5kkk gold. He's the one who had it's rights harmed.

 

This is how things works in Law. If you don't want to pay twice due to bad things you did then pay the first and only fair penalty. If you try to be smarter than Law and Rules, you will increase your punishment.

Thanks for your input however, the personal who bought it know very well it was the seller's mistake so he tried to trade the item multiples times to avoid us from tracking it. That is not a WIN, it is bad behavior and can result in ban. I would say, it is a shame that we have this type people in game or in community who can enjoy the win over suffer of other.

 

You are talking about real life?

- In real life, you have to bring the item to the counter to pay so the answer you will get is, sorry we put it wrong price, we can give you x amount of discount as compensation.

 

Mistake can happen at anytime so we are here to help, if you say we should reject all help when user make mistake then we should reject when people accidently sold item to NPC or use the wrong mix as well. I hope that you never had to post those requests because that will be against everything you are believe in.

It is no where near the same when you made a mess yourselve with that report.

You made us chasing around for a lost item when it was sold by error.

Putting an item with price is difference with puting item with wrong price.

You should have started with that.

@Support i made Clan Yggdrasil ONLY to help new wartalers so they stay on server and dont stop when they reach 120. 

I found couple of old players who enjoy helping new players also - so we do what we can to support the server.

 

So my opinion abaout this is - fair you tracked the item and helped.

BUT ! How big Difference do you allow before this can be a case next time ????????

 

Example : I sell a  Boss crystal for 500.000 but should be 1.500.000

 

You know, its a low amount - but wheres the line now before people can get their items returned???????? there should be a clean line abaout this.

Your example is a 3x price difference and the shieldcase is a 1000x price difference. The difference in value is the decider of what is "a mistake" or just a player regretting his sale. Im happy with letting the Game masters be the judge for this and dont think specific rules are neccessary.

I agree that in this one situation the GM acted correctly. But there should be specific rules about this. Letting GM's decide every time what's "right" can lead to a dark path.

That doesn't fit the definition of money laundering, though.

 

Money laundering would be like he duplicates the gold, then buys items from his other chars or his friends with such gold at expensive rate to pretend that those accounts or friends get their gold from normal trading.
