Is it really that impossible to kill Babelina with an 9x archer?

Have to do it for the 95 quest.... And cant seem to get the horn..

 

Any suggestions?

it's possible to solo babel at 95, though i did it at 96 cause i wanted to use a better bow.

 

you'll need to reset your stats and do a hp build.

str - enough all equips except armor, should be around 70ish

spr - enough for your rings and amulets, no more than a murky or celesto

tal - 80

agi - rest of points

hp - enough to get at least 650 health

 

bomb arrow - 10 the only skill you need to use

 

you should have around 65 abs using the dark gaia armour with full lvl 95 gear, but it's ok to have sub-level equips. DON"T use any summons, no crystals, no wolf, nothing. bring at least 120 hp pot and 70 of mana and stm pots each. be at the spawn 5 mins early. buff up at 1 min. (i keep a browser window open to check server time)

 

once babel spawns, let it come to you. try to get the hang of its' pattern and pot every time you take a hit. once you get comfortable with surviving you can start attacking.

 

babel does ~200 damage per hit, but it hits fast. it'll hit you at least twice (for ~400 hp) during the time you use bomb arrow, so you'll need to pot after every action. sometimes it may hit you 3 times during your attacks, that's why you need 650 health to survive. basically, just spam hp pots. if you need to pot mana or stm, pot hp in between. even when you're at full health, if you think the next hit is going to come just as you're going to attack, pot 1st. babel will heal itself during the 1st few minutes, but it's health will deplete eventually, so don't give up if you don't see any progress initially.

Why do you tell the person not to use the wolf? That is your tanking pet, it's job is to tank monsters 1v1.

 

I would almost say, USE YOUR WOLF! You can always change your skills and stats before level 100 for free. Though you have to buy your skills again. The wolf would make it so babel attacks it, and not you, meaning less health pots you have to use, and more attacking. When your wolf runs out or dies, then run the babel, potting when you get hit, and respawn your wolf.

Because any kind of monters or pets, will result in Bable healing, which u want to avoid, because it makes him unkillable then.
