Thanks for the new content but whats up with the mage nerfs..

 

zinith  100 to 35!!! resistances!! meaning you need to max it and stay 1h only  during pvp to have full resistance!!

meteor shower 2-3 seconds casting time with 11 seconds cd!!

flame throw 1/3 dmg gone ty for nerf its very big problem if mage spam flame wave OFC its mgs fault u couldn't buff others classes for pve properly....

slowest spammable skill in pvp death ray got tiny lil "fake" buff for pvp that doesnt matter cuz when does Death ray hits anyways and you reduce the RANGE by 30!!! DID the mage hit from so far!! 

-44% DMG  and -10% LOWER ATTACK RATING for mgs ONLY killing skill(calamity) meaning my crit is 1100-1300 non-crit is 400-500 only with full 144 while other characters have similar damage on their spam skills WHICH THEY CAST MUCH FASTER!!! 

dancing sword -5% dmg fire -25% ice AND hits once every 2 seconds instead of 1 that's more than 50% nerf 

 

buff for fire ball lvl 20 skill 30-50% nice trolling here..

 

 

after so much pvp testing.. pure mage can crit 2000 but after dying3-5 times cz of low health + long animation DR and T5+ low attack rating.. semi tank and tank mage cant kill nothing with this trash damage so they end up useless distortion mules :D.. gratz @Support you have successfully killed mage in pvp .

 

you have literally nerfed every single core skill in the mage kit by more than 50% more than any other class in the game and for what!? did u see 5 mages in pvp ranking? 

 

why do you hate mage so much? was the mage the problem in pvp or pve? how am I supposed to enjoy the game anymore? dont tell me change class I play mage for 20 years now :D .

Dude, thank those who kept asking the mage for buffs instead of being happy and silent with what they had.

 

It was the most complete char in the game and because of greed they drew everyone's attention to how unbalanced it was.

 

But I agree it was a heavy nerf.

Mgs can still hunt and exp chill out. Mgs don't need to dominate every single field in this game lol.

For PvE

Flame Wave DPS nerf is only 10%,Mage players always ignore spirit elemental and elemental enchant.

before was 100% dmg + 200% dmg boost + 74% spirit elemental = 374% +10% final elemental enchant =>~411%

Now it's 100% dmg + 164% + 74%= 338 +10% final enchant =>~371%

Flame wave is ok as it's,  and lets not forget that auto ms got nerfed, and an indirect nerf with priest t5 range limit

 

Meteorite: it's not worth to use it, small aoe, lower attack range, barely increases DPS

I think it should have 175 area, so it can combo with stone spike as well, and maybe increase damage boost.

 

Wartornado: good for support, but same problem as meteorite, small aoe, lower attack range, barely increases dps.

Increasing hit strength might be ok

 

Dancing sword was out dpsing some classes, so it makes sense to nerf it.

 

For PvP.

Mage was ok on pvp before, not OP, i don't think it deserved that heavy nerf.

hunt and exp and then what? still weak af in pvp? isnt the purpose is to gear up and compete in pvp? whats is the use if i am full 144-142 and I cant do shiz and die to actually lower lvl + lower geared.. mage wasnt broken with his trash 2500 atk rtg  where u have to fight until u could finally do some dmg but now.. there is no reason to play this class anymore.. imagine a class that got lowest HP scalling and LOwest Attack rating getting the biggest Damage nerfs and ask if its still viable...

Oh no, MGS can't kill twice as fast as everyone else anymore, on top of having arguably the best buff kit in the game and incredible tankabilty.

only mage can max resists, its ok, before that att otherh was to op... resists cap at level 4 otherh... no other class can do this

ofc mage need somethign in pvp omg 2500 atk rtg and lowest hp in game and slowest skills in whole game!

On my opinion i think all the changes were ok(a bit too much in Flame Wave and Sword tbh), but (thats not only for mages, more of a general sugestion for all classes) the buffs could have a nice feature to be casted in party members automatically as well, mages have two buffs, usually when we are leveling we have to cast these buffs in all killers of the party, wich leads a lot of the casts during the Q's, if all the buffs that we can cast in a party member were automatically cast on party members when we cast on ourselfs (like the T5 buff of Priests and FoN from archers) would be a great life-quality change in the game.

 

A nice change for the new update would be to make the Meteorite of the mages like Thunder Storm(T5) from Priestess..we cast on a place and rain Meteorites (could change the skill name for Rain Fire too lol ''Avengers Reference") and put a bigger CD

before to deal damage with a mage you had to expose yourself and get in the middle of the monsters, but with the flame wave strong as it was, I was expecting them to put CD in the flame wave like the meteor.


but there are a lot of people complaining without testing, go an SOD, go level SS, go test in DIQ, mage is still very good.


You just need more finger, it's not just spam Flame Wave, you need to use meteor in rotation now.

 

The only thing I would add to the mage is some buff already using the status of another buff, rebuffing with 7 different skills is very tiring!

edit: to complete my post, the nerf was generally in pvp, this is no disadvantage for anyone, it was balanced, all skills nerfed for pvp:

 

MS: Obriterate 
FS: Roar, Avenging Crash, Charge
PS: Chain Lancer, Shadow Master
As: Phoenix Shot, Stun arrow, Solar Arrow
Ass: Venom Thorn, Soul shock, Finishing blow, Violet Stub, Shadow Storm
BS: Low kick, Raise Octagon, Comet fist, Neck Wrecker, Rampage
KS: Divine Piercing
Ats: Shield Strike, Windy, Poison Javelin
Prs: Vigor Ball
Mgs: Dance of Calamity
SS: Judgment

tbh if you are playing mage for pvp only you are missing a lot of the class...mages can't reign in all of aspects of the game, any class shouldn't do that..mages are really good in PvE already, wouldn't be fair be so good in PvP too

pvp an dpve should be balanced for all classes.. after all we all compete weekly for sw.. doesnt make sense to make a class pve only..

If one class was good at everything everybody would play only that class... Mages are extremelly good in SoD, Leveling and can do that pratically alone, making him good at PvP too would be MageTale... Every class NEEDS to have their weak and strong points.

Friend im a Brawler player but i feel u. 

 

I think we spent so much time calling Wartale of Nerftale that they got mad and did this revenge with us.  I bet someone in staff is thinking right now something like this: "Huumm How about we multiply by x20 the HP of the towers to make the SW last 4 hours, as if it were a tennis match like Nadal X Djokovic?"

 

Be prepared for the next patches hahaha

If you say so, is it unfair that mages get 50kk-60kk scores in SOD while the other classes get 20-40kk? Is PvE balanced for melees now? If not, why do you ask for mages to be as strong as melees in PvP

Asked a different way, are you willing to trade your mage for a brawler, shaman, fighter, or assassin, same level, same items? Pretty sure no. So please stop crying. Even after heavy nerfs you're still the best in PvE and decent in PvP

pve got nothing to do with pvp .. all classes deserve to do decent both in pve and pvp .. look at all MMOs around you even tho they have classes like tanks and all.. all of them can perform and do very well in pvp regardless of their roles and main purpose in pve..  again just because devs fail to balance all classes for pve doesnt mean mage have to go to hell in pvp..

Ah man you literally just said earlier that all classes should be balanced in terms of PvP and PvE, now you say PvE's got nothing to do with PvP ? . Have you ever played competitive games like Dota 2 or League of Legends? You can't ask a support to be as strong in PvP as a late-game hero, and you can't ask a late-game hero to have strong nuke skills for early kills. If you think of PvP as a team sport, then mages are really good supports. Tanky, have debuffs, deal high aoe damage, deal decent 1v1 damage even with wands, give damage/freeze effect and mp/sp buffs. 

 

The only problem I see is that you don't wanna lose your PvE powers while asking to be one of the best in 1v1, not PvP in general.

who said mage was op at pvp before patch?! mage rarely hit in pvp with their LOW ATTACK RATING how many times must i tell people to understand pffft.. mage had to hit twice in a row with one crit to make sure he kill !! which was extremely rare given that char have zero crit modifiers and lowest attack rating in the entire game.. anyways I cant convince u if u dont actually want to ??

yes pvp has nothing to do with pve meaning both are supposed to be balanced but ofc u wont get it because u obviously dont want to.. also this isnt dota or league where game is 20 mins this isnt moba this is MMO stop comparing completely different genres.. pve powers already reduced along side the pvp kill potential.. again this is mmo not moba .. mage have slow just like fs have aoe stun and ks have aoe stun, pike have aoe slow and push .. shaman have slow and push too .. all of them have op kill potential except for mage for the moment.. I am done answering back to u my friend as u show zero knowledge about games and the way u compare completely two different genres

LOL, your arguments only show how shallow you are in PvP and SW. With 10+ classes, if you want all characters to be balanced PvP-wise, you end up creating 10+ different versions of the same character. That's why you can never ever have a truly balanced PvP system. Think about what make mages different from pike, or knight. For instance, mages get damage reduction, which is unique in the server. Next, you get 35 extra resistances, which make you almost immune to other slows/stuns. Shamans have slow, but only on one target. Pikemans have aoe slow, but they are much easier to die (even with shields). In PvP, if mages can do what they are supposed to do, their team has a lot of advantages. Back when I was active in PvP, I preferred to mage as a support so my teammates can kill more easily. I got ridiculed for not being able to kill anyone, but who cares, as long as we win the war.
