Guide for Professions, Luminous Cavern, Relics, Socket System, Smelting and Grinding!

Hello Everyone, regardless of clan (enemy or not) we are a community here. The staff didn't want to put a detailed description of the new system that they've put into the game. So as a player (you and me) we can make a guide for ourselves (to help each other).

 

For example:

Where to find luminous key? 

How to use smelting furnace and grinding table?

How to smelt a mettalic alloy? What do i need?

 

And you can add more if you find something useful information and will help everyone!

 

For me:

• So far, i can tell you (for newbies) you can buy (pick axe and trowel) in ruinen village. You can harvest plants and mine ores/vein in any map. You can respec (pick axe and trowel with 1 gyfu 1 nied 1 jera and 1 dagaz.
• The grinding table and smelting furnace can be found in the primary cities.

There is a possibility that when you mine ore or harvest a plant if your level of mining and herbalism is not suitable to that ore or plant it will fail. That’s what i noticed! (So maybe there is a certain level of each plant and ore but they can be found anywhere)

Smelting Furnace you craft Metallic alloy etc.
Grinding Table you transform herbs.

 

 

 

 

 

And the Gems you craft at the Phillay NPC:

You can also find them in Eura village, Atlantis and Batle Town
See the Smelting Furnace Icon or the Grinding Table on the mini map

 

 

When you reach Level 8 in Mining or Herbalism you can build a Smelting Furnace or Griding Table.

" Iron drill can create 6 different socket types, not only five.

You can only drill weapons and armor/robes, but the bonus is applied exclusively to the weapon at left of your inventory, classes like brawler and assassin should not worry about drilling two different weapons".

 

" You can only extend one socket per item, and it works as the iron drill, random.

Just to clarify about the items:

Gem extractor: Extract the gem from the socket to your inventory. The socket remains.

Socket Filler: Remove the socket and destroy the gem inside the socket."

Prismatic Socket
All types of Drills have the possibility to result in a Prismatic Socket.
The Prismatic Socket can take any type of Gem.

There's a smelting furnace close to the Blacksmith (main square) in Ricarten for ores and a grinding table next to supply store in Pillai for herbs. You can also find these furnaces/tables in other towns (Eura village, Battle Town, Navisko Town, etc.).

Well extender drills can be crafted but the success chance is only 22%. Most of the extender drills in the market are dropped from luminous cavern (146 map). You don't need extender drill until after you have had your first gem embedded. It is used for your second (not sure if there's a third?) gems if I guess correctly.

If you wanna farm efrium ore, go to Lost temple. This map spam alot efrium.

This is very informative. I wanna try this but it’s very expensive.
