Roba 0 Report post Posted August 15, 2011 What level is your ES and why? The research means to see what level is better off on the "defense" improvement versus mana lost per secound and help all mages, especially newbes.

TripleR 0 Report post Posted August 16, 2011 I'm using level 10 but I will change to 7 when I feel like it because one of my clannies got a build from 3r Yep, level 7 is the way to go if you're on EXP mode. My build did include level 7 Energy Shield, and it served its purpose perfectly (decent tanking & less mana loss). But a few months ago I changed it to level 10 because I don't EXP anymore, I'm on PvP/hunt build at the moment, so I use it level 10 because there is no relevant mana loss at PvP/hunt maps and I want to be able to survive longer (especially if you're a PvP mage like I was when I played my mage regularly). Anyway, my advice would be to leave Energy Shield at level 7 until you reach level 125 or until you stop exping for a long time. When you're done exping, go for 10 and have fun in PvP. That's what I did.

TripleR 0 Report post Posted August 16, 2011 does sod-ing included as exp? I realized it mainly doesn't. Up until Round 6 you could consider it as exping because you would do fine with level 7 Energy Shield for less mana loss. But after Round 6, where the real SoD begins, level 7 is not enough to tank. I have done SoD with level 7 and level 10 Energy Shield, and I think I enjoyed it the most at level 10 because I could tank Round 7 a lot easier (even if I was solo). It's still very hard to tank R7 solo but it is a lot easier than it was with ES level 7. The mana loss is insane though, especially with those witches that I implemented at R7. But that just makes it all more fun, more challenging. Plus, the Agony update should fix that in the future.

TripleR 0 Report post Posted August 17, 2011 ^ When Agony update will be seted, do u know? It's low priority, which pretty much means it can happen at anytime. It could happen tomorrow, or in 3 months. It depends on how many people complain about it, to be honest. Just like everything else that is low priority (example: AD3 HS). If a lot of players complain about it it could become a priority and come out sooner than expected, but there are already so many things on Wartale's to-do list that I don't know if players can really complain about Agony. Look at Cyclone Strike from Fighters for example. I believe it should be higher priority than Agony, as it is impossible for a Fighter to EXP at the moment. But then again, it's still low priority compared to other huge stuff such as the Coin Shop (very high priority) and important bugs. What changes will they do in agony? The plan is to make it 10% HP loss and 100% MP gain at level 10.
