Blocking NPC

Recommended Posts

GM can you please do something about those idiots setting up a shop in front of a NPC. Ban them...kick them do something. Its very annoying that a player has to run around them to be able to reach the NPC. Look Ricarten Odin NPC Morald.

NPCs should have the power to periodically blast people away.

Would be fun to watch.  ?

Seriously, though, double the prohibited distance will solve this problem.

Please increase the distance allowed to set up stores.
Remove wall and fence Near NPC Morald and Moriph

The mayor is collecting high taxes, but not taking care of the city. She needs urgent renovations?

Hi,

You can report them to get them banned. That will teach them how to behave in game.

That's a bit too harsh ?

The system allows them to do so at that spot. A bit closer the system says No. That means they don't break any rules as the notification implies that this spot is acceptable.

Unless they are intentionally creating chain blocking people from reaching the NPC, banning people because of them merely opening shops near the NPC, but still outside the prohibited zone, is a bit overkill.

Increasing the prohibited distance will solve the problem and GM won't have to waste time investigating and banning people, not to mention the drama that will follow.

There's a store right in the middle of the narrow aisle. There are people who stop to look and the path is totally obstructed.
That's why I'm suggesting removing the walls and fences.
I made a new character and had a hard time delivering the Lollipop to morald.
I keep imagining a person who has never played face this type of problem.

Oi,

Você pode denunciá-los para que sejam banidos. Isso os ensinará como se comportar no jogo.

it would be great if you can supervise in the city of games, keep putting up npc

Yikes... hearing this response from administrator kind of scares me as a player.

lntentionally blocking NPC is annoying , I don't think it should constitute banning a player entirely from the game especially since the game allow shops to be open in that area close to npc

The word banned even being used in this topic by administrator I think only instills fear in players that they can get banned for doing something so small. Its really important for gamers

to feel that the game their playing has stability security and fairness.

the last thing I'm sure staff want is for their players to think that they can get banned for doing the most small things in-game.

I agree with @JeleStore  post its overkill

l Did , but I don't think it constitutes a ban.

In that case insult someone using chat or trade chat shouldn’t be banneable because they allow to express you by there.

is not if they allow something, is the use that someone gives to perjudicate anothers one

if the system allows a shop to open up close to npc, whether they have many shops around the npc and if they are intentionally blocking or they are just trying to keep all their shops close by... i mean how could you ever investigate if someone opening shops are trying to block npc... or that they are simply just trying to keep their shops close by... theres no way this thing can be investigated and it shouldnt be because the system allows for these shops to be open close to npc... players shouldnt be blamed for doing something that the game allows them to do

which is opening shops close to npc..

For example : how many times is the bridge blocked in ric because of HG so many people camp there and afk there its hard to walk past that bridge, does this mean i can report all these players for blocking the bridge because they are waiting for HG to start ? can they be banned for doing this ? i hope not xD

I think what the the admin was saying is that. Blocking which means restricting access to the NPC would result to a Ban if and only if proven to be true with tangible evidence for a period of time. As long as the NPC can be accessed I dont think placing stalls near the NPC would result a ban. So relax everyone. Just give space for people to go through.

This is an example of blocking. However this would not result to a ban. If not proven with multiple screenshots to show period of blocking. If it was taken multiple shots to show time of blocking. This player would definitely be punished.

Kind regards,

Its the idiot in front of the npc that should be kicked out of this game for a period of time. So so so so useless to stand there and stimulate others to do so to while there is a MARKET with enough space to stand. So the chars blocking the entrance are trying to make that point. Only an idiot doesnt see that!!

It's still not their faults for opening shops near NPC. People will try to open their shops at the place they think is the best possible which usually results in shops clumping together even in real life. If this creates problems then it's a town planning failure. The authority need to change rules to mitigate the problem. Blocking the entrance is a direct rule/law breaking which normally results in punishment in real life too.

Taking into account what GM has said in a different post that he would like to see the town less clustered. Instigating a rule that set a minimum distance between shops to keep the passage clear between two shops will solve this problem in a way that even increasing range from NPC cannot. For example, even if the Mix Uncle NPC doubles the range, people can still open too many shops in the hall way and block the path. If a minimum distance between shops is enforced, it means no shops can be so close together that they block the path.
