The Problem with BC and HUGE alliances.

MIB now has a great alliance, but months ago he was with the newly created WTF, which still wasn't going to Bless, and the MIB did 1 x 4 clans in Bless, of these 4, only runaway and karma continue and make a great PVP on the server, unlike the other 2 that disappeared, now that the 4 clans stopped or even don't try to go BC, it's not our fault that we've outgrown our enemies.

 

the game has always had alliances, on both sides, there are always these phases that one side also dominates.

 

i think i should accept the alliances as suggestion, and split them all into two factions (jedis/siths, horde/ally, simpsons/american daddy) just like other mmorpgs that always have two teams.

 

example:

 

Knight Commander Derik Order, would be the warriors who would unite to control the resources and impose peace under the command of Derik and his consil (could be the leader player / faction representative)
They would have a Red flag, and all players would have a red name.

 

on the other side would have the Royalmage Ray Defenders, who fought alongside the Royalmage to defend against Derik's tyranny and impositions, they would have their sub-leaders (same thing as on that side)
They would have the yellow flag and the names in yellow.


the game would have ways to encourage people to participate in the war and to balance if one side becomes dominant for example, the losing side would have a bonus of 5%+ damage/hp/defence only in BC to help if they lose more than two wars in a row, accumulating up to 15%, in case they are unable to win, resetting the bonus in case of victory, each player would choose a side, they could have clans of only one faction.

So what will you do if one day your side dominates bc? Are you going to switch sides again? ?


Honestly, you can do that "balance" with your team (if you can unite some of it). But it makes you untrustworthy. So don't blame old clan mates who talk badly to you because that's the path you choose, you choose to kill old clan mates in bc.

? just start a clan or join a young clan and try to conquer that gold crown. When you earn it you will see it's not that crap anymore.

kom and these other clans dont care that bc is dead. they dont mind haha, they rather it be dead then to lose the crown or bragging rights. big ego in game

As much as I disagree on how alliances are made, we can all choose how to play. 
In my case I prefer "solo career" because I don't want to have any obligations to any groups within the game.
And as much as I am an avid critic of how things stand on the server these days, 
GM is implementing alternatives and it's only a matter of time before they find a suitable formula.
I understand your frustration, but there's nothing you can do about it, it's the server mentality.

It depends a lot on clans from both sides being managed by good leaders. If both sides have good leaders, people looking to improve the game competition and chase victory there will always be good wars. It always happened in Wartale since 2010. Once one side got stronger, the other immediately tried to find new people, make new alliances, bring old players back, start investing more. I personally saw it happening a few times since the start of the game ?

 

Forcing people to chose a certain side is something that cant be done due to the way the game works. If side x is losing, its better to find someone who wants to work hard for them, then do what I said above. Its like politics and war in real life... you have to be kinda diplomatic to keep your side strong and competition going on.

Bc will never back to be what it was years ago . 

 

1. There is no new player that acually will put a lot of money or time   for pvp char cus pvp is simply dead . 

2. The ones who play probably sold thier acc and they wont come back . 

3. Even if you put max 20 people each clan can go .. they will just make many small clan that share they crowns . 

 

What you shuold do  is to make 3 differet categories. 

 

Gold sold crown ( only 1 clan can get it) +1 speed atk  

Sige war gold crown ( only 1 clan get it) give +10 atk power . 

Battle town gold crown ( give 5% def or 5% evde for exmple ) . ( new turnament ? ) 

 

For exmple: if 1 clan allready got the gold crown in bc .... he  cant get gold crown in sod or bt  . 

 

 

Its wont fix the problem in pvp .. but its will boots the spirit of clan to compete in each area they want ..  

Then we can do 1x1 duel fights  all the way without mules buffs. 

 

 

I think its will kill bc area .. but its improve the pvp style  of the game . 

 

 

Just a tought  ?

Its easy. Most of the people go to the clans that are dominating the server at the time. I Can remember when i was in The Gang and we and WS /LB Dominated the server , a huge number started to ask to come to our clan even from the  "enemy" side just to enjoy the Gold crown. Its more a community problem in my eyes. Wartale has one of the best systems in pvp if i compare to other servers, its just what the people in game do with it. Atm there are unbalanced charas yes but if people really want to have a good Bc back they would choose a "Smaller" Clan for make it big and have a fun fair fight again.

 

I came back to game since 4 days and its amazing to see even if my side is under numbered they keep try to bring back fun to Game and I'm sure the other side can confirm it. Its just about how long ppl stay motivated to fight 10x5. 

 

Let's see and wish that Wartale get the nice Time back. I see more issues in PVE because i sometimes wish to log and go hunt even if its 1H like old times . So if bc is not in a good from u have a alternative to do something else. This would be soooo Nice. New items + Hunt map incoming :P? haha

This is a great idea! Also, the gap between two sides should never be above 5. This way, even alliances would have to join different sides, although scores would still count for each clan separately.

yes, it's even easier to balance, an ideal war would be something like 100x100 or 200x200, if one side has an alliance of 200 people and the other has 100, the war should be 100x100 and 100 in the queue, so the biggest alliance doesn't it would be so attractive like that. 

 

Goods rewards for those who helped in the war and its goals, so those who were always left in queue out of the war would end up looking for the other alliance side.

 

But if one side is still losing, it could increase winning side 100 x 105 losing side (+5% for last week's defeat)

I don't think it's a good idea because there will be mules from other side joining your side.

 

I think we should remove the hit-kill from bc first, at least keep it to a minimum. And then the side effects should be reinforced: stun, slow, ice, poison, fire, debuff. Make its more important in bc. Thus, the outnumbered problem will decrease and a small group can survive in bc with good strategy (classes diversity). Of course, it will take some time to adjust, but it's worth a try.

Imagine 100x100 war (all players active, no mule) but 50 of team A is from bigger alliance of team B and they don’t help team A in war. How can you fix it?

I would say, outwallet your enemies. Game got extremely expensive and you have to pay2win to be competitive on BC, so it's not surprise people would envetually just q u i t the game.

This can easily be fixed. 1 account per IP and no player under a certain level (146 for instance). Also, inactive players for ~20 seconds straight are kicked out of the war.
