[BALANCE] PIKEMAN ++ BLESS AREAS

First of all, this is what i think after i tested in game, so, I'm trying to "build" a positive review to help staff to get to the real balance.

 

What I think about the changes?

 

 

I read the changes that have been posted in the patch 3217, found that would be great, i agreed at first time, but when i tested it in game, the surprise,

the class was ruined, tanking better, but doesn't kill ANYTHING. I am a pike 134, +20 120 wp, I can not even kill a char 12x.

 

Cl is better, but it is a skill that has an animation longer, while you use the cl against another char, (knight or fighter) they use 2 skills against you, because they are faster. Moreover, Pikes did not use one-handed weapons, so, we need to have an advantage.

 

Changing vanish and cs at the same time took the main features of the class (the essence),  the class is dead. The pikes were never the problem, but the pvp that allowed the hit and runners and this patch fixed this with the new areas.

 

U guys (staff) are trying to balance classes, i know that,  but this time you have corossed the line, exaggerated and destroyed a class, I totally missed the pleasure of playing, I can now say that I no longer want to open the game and I'll probably stay that way until there is some change.

ive played 131 pike and before patch it can 1 hit Ko a 130 using dreadnaught spear (104) Cele mix... total op

 

I also play 137 ft full 120 gear +20 BOM with like 1.6k hp and before patch i can 1 hit Ko by lv130 pikes  how is that fair?

Just like u cant stop murders but u can certainly pass gun laws that reduce murder rate

You can reduce bsb by cutting pike damage.

To tell the truth, the CS and vanish nerfs went a little further than I expected as well, but I still believe the patch has the right aim, to fix oneshotting and make pikes tankier and better levellers. Maybe the numbers still need some tweaking but the idea itself is right. Personally I feel like tornado may still need a bit more power as well. And CS should of course still be usable, haven't tried that yet but I'm sure that if it's not it will be adjusted. You have to admit that no ability should be able to oneshot same or higher level characters on a consistent basis. In my view Vanish + CS should still be able to do a very significant amount of damage (say 60-70% of the hp of a same level/geared target) , but it should never oneshot a same level character. Balancing is a very iterative process and I'm confident pikes will turn out fine if they aren't already.

lolz.... the patch is not a class killing. Notice pike defense increased by crap loads and also CL damage went up. This forces pike to actually fight during pvp not
