Using Tonic correctly to boost final damage

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Overlady mentioned in another topic that we can boost final damage by 50% if Tonic is used correctly. However, what I see from the website is something like " Electric Tonic turns all neutral damage dealt by the player into Lightning damage". I am confused at this point as I am not sure how to use Tonic correctly. For instance, should I use Blazing Tonic to boost damage for Bandish or Electric Tonic to boost damage for Lightning Swords?

Any help is much appreciated!

Tonics change the damage type of non-elemental abilities, for example:

If you use fire tonic, your brandish becomes a fire skill, you can deal more damage against monsters with low fire resistance. Lightning tonic is the same, and you can also get boosted by Watornado.

If you are a mage/with mage for example, you can turn your damage into lightning damage and combo it with watornado. In most cases, you will gain additional DPS.

Also works for fs/ pike at certain maps, that turning their damage into fire/ice will actually be worth it. ( At maps when the elemental resistance of mobs is min 91 or so, but mostly worth it when its close to 0, cause no one will spend 20kk for a 1% damage boost or so ).

Too bad that there aren't many cases it's worth it though for the ice/fire damage though/ you need 1 spesific class for that.

Hi @Overlady would it be possible to find information on mobs' resistance? e.g. Phantom Fury fire resistance "31"

I was wondering the same. Like for instance if I use a fire tonic on my ATA would be good in Luminous Cave.
