Omega 0 Report post Posted August 24, 2011 I was reading a post and ppl recommended zenith in their build, why get this b4 dia 10 and deathray 10? How does resistance work, is it the same as abs but for elemental attack. How common is elemental attack for mobs?
1337person 0 Report post Posted August 24, 2011 Zenith makes you less affected by status effects, such as frost and stun. So, it's a good thing.

Since Dia will help you lvl faster, and Zenith really takes effect in pvp areas and high damage inflicting area's.

My English is perfectly fine, thank you very much. ---- As for leveling Dias, well I recently reset my skills so that I only have level 1 Dias. This is because Meteor is just too good, now that you can spam it. No flinching, being able to target an enemy, having a relatively ranged attack, and a higher rate of damage than Dias makes it superior in every way.
Omega 0 Report post Posted August 26, 2011 Well dia has some important benefits, like being able to be spammed without stopping u using a pot, which can be the difference between life and death in some situations. Theres not much difference in dmg to meteor, and it costs alot less mana. It also has the advantage of pushing back enemies in a complete circle, which acts as a kind of sheild. Read more Forgot to say the disadvanted that is flinching when you missed the right timing, making you unable to hit monsters (which will increase damage taken even more) and pot (symptoms may cause death). And you're quite wrong there, there is a huge difference in dmg to meteor and dias. I think zenith is the skill you should master after MM, ES (lvl 7 ~ 10) and SE. Dias is no more now, and DRay has no major increases from lvl 1 to lvl 10, IMO. So zenith is the way to go, and after this, Agony (it'll get uptadet to 10% HP = 100% Mana on lvl 10; resolving the mana pot problem)
randyhuynh 0 Report post Posted August 26, 2011 dia is better, then DR is good if u hunt, Zeith is only for PVP, mage dont PVP, dont boost it i wouldnt list to people who dont play mage much. Zenth usually only for PVP, mage dont need to PVP, mage is for SOD, EXP and now they can hunt, i would up DR before zenth like On 8/24/2011 at 1:10 PM, cuteako316 said: Quote I was reading a post and ppl recommended zenith in their build, why get this b4 dia 10 and deathray 10? Nooodle 16 Report post Posted August 26, 2011 Because tier 4 should be relatively easy to get to, you can hunt with crystals till that point, dias would probably be a waste of skill points, because once your T4, you can use Meteorite, which is WAY better than dias. Omega 0 Report post Posted August 27, 2011 Well I played a mage on upt a couple of years back, there meteor also had no delay, but the best SOD mages used dia. Admittedly SOD is much harder now on this server, but still the first few rounds dia is very handy, also dia is a great lazy skill, if u want to go farm/xp in easy maps u can sit there all day chatting to ur friends just right clicking. Roba 0 Report post Posted August 27, 2011 I think what we can get from here is that on Dias X Zenith, there is no right choice. Actually it seems to depend most on how is your relation between Dias and Meteor. If you're doing "just fine, thank you" with Meteor, screw Dias, Zenith FTW. If you still think Dias has its spark, take it up to level
