Not only for the rework done in the game formula, but also for the fact that you went deep into your approach to achieving game balance by going far and redesigning the game formula. I understand that is not a simple process of plug'n play and just change. And I have to say the formula change has been amazing! We are grateful for your efforts. It sparked the life in Wartale, we are now seeing more melees then before. Some points I would like to highlight and I am not sure if this was part of the patch since it was not mentioned in the change log: Assassin: Deception (PVE/PVP) Attack rating boost reduced from 100% to 50% The duration has been significantly decreased down to 1.5 minutes which translates into a nerf, again I am not sure if this was an intentional change since it was not mentioned in the change log. Assassin nowadays, are not one of the 'popular' classes for various reasons, and with that huge decrease in duration in one of the skills that is a trademark for all assassins, it is has been a difficult patch to cope with for assassins. I would highly appreciate your confirmation on this @Overlady as well as all the assassins. Archer: Stun Arrow (T5): I am not sure if this has been reworked but it seems that this skill's cool down has been significantly decreased (buffed), where the stuns are almost spammed with an interval of approximately 5-7 seconds. Again I am not sure and would appreciate confirmation on this, I could be mistaken. The below has been mentioned in the change log and would like to highlight some points: Mechanic: Metal Armor (PVE/PVP) Cooldown reduced from 15 seconds to 5 seconds; (PVE) Defense Boost reduced from 80% to 56%; (PVP) Max Damage Boost reduced from 56% to 40%. I believe by Damage Boost what is meant here is Defense Boost? I could be mistaken, maybe it is something else. Mechanic Bomb (PVP) Damage Boost reduced from 27% to 11%. This is a 60% Damage nerf. This has officially become the weakest skill in Wartale..11% (PVP) damage boost should not even be a skill I feel like it is a waste of a skill slot for only 11% (PVP). I believe this is a bit too aggressive for a nerf, especially that this skill was the only counter attack to a ranger for mechs with a huge range difference between a ranger vs mechs it is almost impossible for a mechanic to attack a ranger. I would strongly suggest a revisit on this. Again, thank you so much for your listening to all of us and considering all aspects. TigerShark22 489 Report post Posted February 22, 2022 (edited) There are 2 problems with assassins: 1. 2 142+24 daggers are expensive ( and it's too hard to get a perf dagger due to block) While most players are PVErs only, so its not worth the investment ( pay more for less in PVE). 2. The lack of an AOE for a party play. RN maybe SS became more accepting for melees, yet LC is mostly tanker+ rangers/magic. In easy mob, everyone can be accepted( yet slight advantage to rangers/magic) But in hard mode, only a pike can be accepted to the party due to tornado's big range and area. Pretty much bs, ass and fs can't participate in LC hard mode ( or any activity of the sort) and that's a minus.( For assassin I believe its easy to balance with her fire skill, just increase the range from 50 to 150-200, but for fs/bs its gonna be tough, can maybe determine a spesific area for dungeons?) I Dont think they will ever revert the mechanic bom AOE skill , because they mentioned before area of damage skills should not do much damage... thats why they nerfed brawlers aoe that caused trouble, they nerfed the ks aoe that almost 1 hit you.... only fair that they had to nerf the mechanic bombs aoe . Realistically these bombs were doing massive damage to all players in the area , way to much damage for area of damage skill.
