Hi everyone,

I played a lot of MMO in the early 2000 and that feelings just stick to me until now. I can't really enjoy modern MMOs which "autopathl everything. Even newer games like New World or Lost Ark, they just won't click with me. But this game, it gives me that "click". It feels like an old game from the 2000s but with lots of new and fun feature. I am playing Knight (lvl39) and I am taking my time to read lore and explore gameplay bit by bit.

I actually never played Wartale before. In the early 2000s I played Ragnarok Online for yearsssss - yes that's many years!

When my character visited Ricarten, my god the feeling of old MMO just came back. LAG with lots of vendings on the streets instead of a "market interface" like modern MMOs. I love browsing through shops on the streets man, not gonna lie.

Anyways, thanks for a great server. But just some questions though:

- Can someone give me a list of all commands in game (/ping, /fps, etc.)?

- And I play on a high resolution so my Inventory interface is TINY. Is there a way to increase the size of HUI?

thanks and cheers

Welcome to Wartale, I am sure you will love the game ? Let us know in case we can help you somehow in game !

For the first question, every command is listed in this link

Regarding the second question I am not sure but did you already try to auto adjust ?

See ya in game ?

Hi there,

thanks for relying. What do you mean by "auto adjust"? In the graphic settings, I did not touch anything since beginning and only selected the resolution that matches my monitor.

1. What is Market Interface? I don't play any other MMORPG so I have no idea.

2. When Ragnarok came to Australia I tried it, but it was a 2D game so I didn't like it. I'd played P.riston Tal.e by then so Ragnarok felt outdated.

3. The standard commands are:

/:Name - to send private message to Name

/rc - reconnect the game when you feel it's laggy.

//party Name - send a party request to Name

/resethead - if for some reason your char lost his head LOL

/addfriend Name - add Name to your friend list.

/ping -  check response time

These are the basic ones. There are others, but for the more complex tasks like send coins to other people, shout in market chat, etc.

You can put some of these commands in the Macro list and make it easier to use. For example, I put //party to my F9 slot in Macro. When I want to party someone I press Ctrl+ F9 and the //party appears fore to type the name of the person I want to party. If you party the same person all the time, you can add their name to it like "//party JeleStore" and you can use the macro and just Enter to send party to JeleStore.

Just play around with the settings. You might find it suit you better with different Settings. For me I turn off weather effects even though it looks nice because I play with multiple instances and too many effects makes the game unstable in that case.

Thanks! Aussie here as well. What ping you got? Mine is around 300. Not too bad but not ideal either. Graphics are ok, but the most annoying thing is that my inventory UI are TINY. Any way to make it bigger whist using a high resolution?

"market interface" is like you got a HUI for market place. You sell and buy from there. There is no place that people gather around to vend like in Wartale.

1. My ping at the moment is about 340-350. Not the best one, but it doesn't cause any problem so I rarely check. I'm not sure if it's better than this normally. At the moment we're having a heavy rain and I'm using a wireless NBN which is affected by rain and high wind.

2. I don't know if there is a way to make the HUD bigger. I use 1920 x 1057 which is the best my pc can do and the HUD size is alright.

3. Re: Market Interface. I see. I've read people mentioning Auction House in this forum. Probably that's what they were talking about. I, like you, love to browse through the market. I often spent hours looking up the market buying cheap stuff to resell when I was very active in game a couple of years ago :D

The only complaint I have about the market in Wartale (and Pris.ton Tale as a whole) is that it allows free standing. If I had it my way, I would make it into Bazar-like kind of market ie. dedicate blocks for shops and put them in Row and Lane. One block can only have one shop. All shops in the same row will be standing in straight line. Shoppers will walk between the rows in the lanes, just like real walking street markets. It will also be easy to navigate.

If they want more vibrant market, they might add some features like umbrella, small hut, table, chair, light, trolley, food trucks, things like that, you know, like walking in a fair.

Narrow path like the bridge in Ricarten can only have shops on both sides of the bridge and leaves the space between for pedestrians.

I don't think high resolution monitor can have bigger UI interface. The only way is to reduce resolution. I play on 4K monitor, my screen resolution is 3840x2160 (4K), I cannot see anything in the trade chat box and my inventory.

The only way I find is to change game resolution to around 1920x1080. So you have interface enlarged. And inventory becomes big enough for you to see on high resolution screen.

Nice to see a new player! Welcome!! About this HUI issue, it's really a bummer ? The way I found is to drop the resolution to 1920x1080 so I can see it better. This problem was mentioned before so maybe the dev team will work on a solution, I hope so ?

Thank you. I already tried 1920x1080 but HUI is still hard to see for my eyes. I am now stuck with 1280x800.

it's good that devs are aware of the issue!

Strange. 1920 x 1080 should already be big enough.

Would you be able to show us your screen shot at both resolutions?

Ctrl+ Home or Ctrl+ End will capture screen, but I'm not sure which one has HUD with it.

To post a photo here, upload it to imgbb.com, open it to full size, right click, Copy image address, then paste the photo link here.

Yea it's okay - but my eyes still find it hard to see, especially small items in inventory. All good, 1280x800 serves me well lol
