Do AOE skills crit?

do the aoe/area skills of all characters crit?

 

from what I've heard only the archer, Perforation, benefits from the crit.

Nope, 

Cyclone strike

Shadow Storm

Thunderstorm

Shattered Impact, which also has retaliation working over it, reason you can still see it critical above 1k 1k5 for (1) of the 2 hits

 

I think perfo works different though, because as I remember it is evadable, while all other AoE penetrate block, defense and not AoE evasion, so it "benefits" less from its critical; it also works kinda different because only when making a critical hit its dmg is slightly closer to other AoE's, while being 100-200 dmg when not (most of the time)

I read that Perforation always hit so how is it evadable?

there are two types of Evade, AoE Evade and ''normal'' evade.

All AoE skills can be evaded by AoE evade [ Muspell, HoV, Vague, Alas], that includes AoE debuffs like Roar and Distortion, can all be evaded.

note that AoE evade can deny literally everything on the game that's not 1x1 ''curse'' [inertia, holy mind, assassin eye, otara, wisp].

My bad. I forgot about PVP. I only thought about PVE. I never PVP

I play only mage class . 

I can conifrm his aoe skills can crit .

As far as I remember, those are the AoE skills that can crit on both PvP and PvE.

 

Thunderstorm is an exception because it only crits on PvP.

 

note that some skills have a 1x1 hit and AoE splash:

only the 1x1 hit can crit on those skills.
