Crius 0 Report post Posted September 8, 2011 I had some time to fill so I decided to see if I could do a bit of statistical analysis of the top PvP lists for the different classes to see how they rank. Basically I removed the highest and lowest players from each class list then added up the total experience and levels of the remaining players and checked the ratio. It's an extremely simplified model, but I'm curious to see how far off the mark it is. The numbers I got was the following: Pikeman 45.56 Mech 43.74 Knight 36.80 Fighter 22.69 Atalanta 13.06 Archer 12.20 Priestess 0.75 Mage 0.54 So for those of you with more PvP experience than me, does that ranking (and relative values) seem somewhat reasonable? For the priestess and the mage it was somewhat pointless considering there doesn't seem to be many of either that plays PvP at all.

Gogg 3 Report post Posted September 8, 2011 The order, if listing them, only, would be something like that. As you can't really take mages and priestess in consideration... cause mages > priestess when it comes to PvP. The relative values... I don't believe on them. The gap between mech-knight/knight-fighter/fighter-atalanta is way too high.
Crius 0 Report post Posted September 8, 2011 I'm inclined to agree the gaps are rather big. It's based on the experience, which is a somewhat arbitrary value. If you switch to kill/death ratio (which is somewhat inaccurate for different reasons since unlike experience, it doesn't take the difficulty of the kill into account), you get the following: Pikeman 2.23 Atalanta 2.02 Mech 1.93 Knight 1.91 Fighter 1.6 Mage 1.27 Archer 1.23 Priestess 0.91 I guess the big surprise here would be atalanta which goes up quite a few positions, and the archer which drops down a bit, but otherwise it's somewhat similar. If I had more data, it would be interesting to see what would happen if you grouped characters into level brackets and compared those against each other. With so little data it's hard to compare since the differences in equipment quality and levels becomes so much more extreme.
