Boots Sol Velocity Mix vs Sol Endurance Mix Discussion

Up until today I thought that Endurance Mix is ONLY for Auto MS / AS / ATA and etc..

 

I am currently level 150 using Physical Training at level 7 (enough for full lightning) and another skill level 4.

Now I think about trading my Velocity Mix to Endurance Mix, so I can just skip Physical Training Completely and max another skill (Holy Body / Divine Shield / Piercing).

 

I only play PVE so the loss of the absorb is okay, but I will still lose 40 HP which is a lot IMO.

 

Any thoughts about this?

When I used to play back then I thougth about it too, but since I never really got into the endgame(stopped on 144), I couldnt have a secure data to analyze. For PvP i think it wont work, since the extra def/abs is better imo, but for PvE, an extra skill leveled up to cover another type of monster and increase exp rate is very welcome, specially now with bosses changing their types. If I were playing now, I would do it

Well, on PvP it will be worse because of def / abs / hp loss AND you don't really need a lot of STM in pvp, so I believe you skip both the mix and the skill.

 

On PvE the def / abs loss is pretty much negligible, but the 40hp loss is huge.

I thought about it a second time and realized it is not worth to do it in the current skill set of the KS, but I admit it was a nice thought.

 

You will either gain enough skill points for Divine Shield / Holy Body /  Sword Blast / Holy Incarnation / Piercing.

 

Divine Shield gives you +3% total extra block at level 10.

Holy Body gives you 10% less damage taken from undead only.

Sword Blast is practically a useless skill. I have suggested before to add synergy with Sword Lightning, but no response from the GMs.

Holy Incarnation is useless on maps 144+, even when maxed it will only give the monster ~10 more hits to tank until it dies. At level 1, this skill is perfect for SL anyway.

Piercing is the only okayish skill to upgrade, but it is too weak anyway.. At level 10 it will deal the same damage as 1crit + 1 non-crit Grand Cross / Double Crash, really not worth the loss of 40hp.

I like that it will never miss, but yes, 40 hp is huge
