How does Etherborne party quest work?

Hi guys, 

How does the party quest in Etherborne (Foreign Matter) work exactly? I don't see anyone in Etherborne doing it. I have two characters, one who has done Crying Angels and one has not. Apparently only the former can take the party quest (as party leader). However, I couldn't collect any matter after 15 minutes hunting in Etherborne (I have already put the pyramid on the ground before hunting). Is this quest a work in progress or am I missing something?

the problem is that you lose 50% drop chance on a hunt map, and get around 5% more exp (or less), with 200% more work on party, this quest is like DIQ, but instead of gold is a specific item dropped, the quest item range area is too much small.

 

this quest need a full rework in my opnion, or players dont ill wanna do this.

Oh, how did you get these pieces of information? I had no idea drop chance is lost when doing this party quest.

we already completed this quest, and it took 3 hours to a 50bi reward.

3 hours... Well, last time I checked the reward for normal mode is ~100bi.

The quest has been recently updated with a higher area for the pyramid and higher exp reward. Actually, you need to kill monsters in the map then you will be able to collect the matter. 

 

If you have any suggestions, please let us know ?

Dont reduce the drop rate as its already low. 

We don't do this quest because its either drops or quest, and we prefer the chance for a drop

the problem is the drop reduction, since the its a new map and the last hunt map, dont make sense to go on last map, where drop last items and take a quest that reduce 1 drop item for everyone, to win a plus 10% exp reward.

 

with much effort the map of the 1 tri/hour.

 

do this quest to earn 1.1 tri/h and lose chances to get the last items? craziness.

 

not counting all the effort to keep running and throwing the quest items in the chest, if you doubt all this work will give you less XP.
