r.patrese 84 Report post Posted November 29, 2022 I've been thinking about the skill death ray. Why wouldn't she have lightning element? the mage's 1v1 Damage is well below the other characters and this forces him to monopolize the pve only in the flame wave. Have you thought about it?

Overlady 5,187 Report post Posted November 30, 2022 Death Ray is not lightning but "energy", same as energy shield, that is why it is green. Best, Overlady 2

Best, Overlady Its "organic" type of damage. Therefore organic resist. The problem with elemental damage (organic is one type of element) is that it is resisted 2 times. The damage is first reduced by Absorption then its reduced again by the corresponding resistance. Thats why Mage has low damage in PVP. Really if GM/Sandurr wanted to fix mage they would have done it already. Another problem for mage is buff: Mage has 6 buffs and it is bad for PVP - Whining - Wartale

(Organic resistance doesn't have damage calculation attached to it; it is purely dedicated to negative effects.) It's actually you who needs to prove your statement "organic resistance has no damage calculation linked to it". 1 out of 2 things is true: 1. The developers never implemented organic calculations such as the monsters from Ruinen who (at least used to) do organic damage. 2. You are misleading people and there are mobs who do organic damage and its possible that Death Ray is organic damage.

If you disagree, you must provide evidence of a scenario in which organic resistance actually decreased Death Ray damage to be analyzed, as I previously stated, a bug report. There is no organic damage calculation because there is no "Organic Damage", Skills such as Soul Sucker and Extinction can decrease the target HP, but it is not considerate damage because your attack power and target stats are not being calculated. In this case, Organic Resistance is used to reduce the chance to activate the skill. Best, Overlady Edited December 6, 2022 by Overlady

A Lightning-type Death-Ray would give better synergy to the Mage class.
BowJester 101 Report post Posted June 9, 2023 Just use Lightning tonic to convert death ray into Lightning damage.
