First of all good day.

  I was curious about how you guys ban players who cheats or hack. Is it by tracking their IP addresses and then banning who ever log in from that IP or Blacklisting that IP address?what if they are on the same network with other legit players?can you actually ban players without tracing their IP address just referring to the players account activity logs?or would you just choose to ignore those legit players that were ban because they are on the same network that of the cheaters or hackers.

  I am one of the players that were banned without knowing what went wrong.Just like that banned!! .Anyway, i think maybe they should reconsider how they ban players. By the way, i'm a level 2 network technician for a call center here in the philippines so IP addressing is not new to me.Hope you guys can find a more effective solution to this type of problem. This is also same problem being encounter by other private server like the RF Equilibrium, my goodness GM's from that server are playing-god they ban who ever oppose or questions them. ;D

Hackers will only get a ban on their accout, when there is alot of hacking activity on a certain IP adress that get's banned, when there is alot of hacking activity on a ip range, the ip range gets banned.

 

quite simple i guess? but suddenly getting banned can also be becouse of some sort of bug, when you do a unban request and you are innocent you will get unbanned.

  Well i got banned not knowing what i did wrong. Ive already posted on the unban section but the moderator there is a man of few words. He just replied "Banned for hacking/cheating, no unban". His reply wasnt much of a help to me. It would be great if he can further explain to me what offences i did.

  As a network technician, i am fond of troubleshooting network problems. how, when, or why the problem occur and then formulate a solution so that it wont happen again (documentation sucks i hate that part its boring  ). If a problem exist in a network and then it disappear without tracing or defining the source of the problem is not good. Me getting banned without explanation completely bugs me.

  Im a fair player. I dont use hack, cheats, or any third party program thats why it really really bugs me why i was banned (hehehe. i guess im just being curious now since i believe i didnt do anything wrong). My rig can handle multiple application. I can run 2 to 3 realmpt at a time and sometimes i run other online games like Dragona and offline games like Warcraft 3(dota). I run them simultaneously. So maybe there was a conflict with the other programs i was running..ill never know.

  Anyway, I really hope they can explain to me in details HOW it happen. I dont mind if they dont lift the sanction on my account i just need to know what went wrong. I love Priston tale this is the first online game ive played (Priston tale Philippines that was 7 or 8 years ago  ) being banned from the game is not cool  .Opps im late for work now..gotta go..ciao!
