Best weapon

Since MS can use any kind of weapons and considering FSs prefer to use sword nowadays, is it better for Power MS too or should I stick with hammers?

Power MS only need claw for everything, no need 2h. Because spark shield can do damage too. Claw, maximize, spark shield with spark level 10 do better damage than any 2h weapon (less using hp potion, do more damage)

For me power ms with 2h weapon only for fun.

Yes even for pvp. Ms using 2h die too fast.

Ofcourse ms can use tank buff but that’s useless in pvp while he can’t kill, can’t die, can’t do anything. Tanker without disable skills (slow, ice, stun) is not a tanker.

The only solution for ms in pvp is maximize, max the damage and be a damage dealer. This way with claw and shield is good.

1hand only is not enough damage for pvp. 

You always need both 1hand and 2hands and swap weapon to kill.

Trust me it’s enough with claw because claw have high crit and enough damage to kill. Ms need to spam GS until it crit. Ms die in one blow without shield. Sure ms can switch to 2h but it’s too risky, it’s not like ps, as high evade or ks damage reduce, ms don’t have anything to cover in 2h mode.

There is also a rumor (or hidden feature) that maximize add more damage than what is describe. I’m feeling that it’s like double the damage of ms. When it crit it’s a deadly crit. That’s why i was using only claw, shield and maximize when i was ms.

Gentlemen, I explain to you
It's true that you can do great dps with GS + Claw
But if you are 1v1 you can hardly kill him
You have to combine it with 2h + Obliterate
You have 2 options
Scythes
+Very High Max Atk (Maximize) -Low Min Atk (Dps Low) +High Crit +High block
can One Kill but hav much fail

Hammers
+ High Max Atk (Maximize) -Average Min Atk (Average Dps) +Average Crit -Average block
can kill but sometimes not

Swords
+ Average Max Atk (Maximize) -High Min Atk (High Dps) +Very High Critical -Average block
can One Kill with much more frecuency for High Crit

if you are looking for High Max Atk with 2h
Scyther>Hammer>Axe>Sword

if you are looking for High Critical with 2h
Sword>Scyther>Hammer>Axe
