Does MGS need a buff?

Just a quick question, does anyone think MGS need a buff? It is sad that Dias and Stonespike are useless. Its AOE is smaller other class. All MGS now can do is just Flame Wave and Meteor which are not very versatile. 

I love mgs but feel like it is not as interesting and also MGS barely beat other class in SOD.

Not a buff, but a rework of these two skills would be nice. I agree it's a little boring to use only two skills for all PvE scenarios. 

 

Mgs were the best in SOD not long ago though. It changed after all melee classes got a buff in AOE skills.

I haven't played for like a year, but dps-wise Stone Spike is the strongest spell against neutral fire or fire resistant mobs.

 

Against monsters that are weak against fire, Flame Wave is just slightly better.

 

The downsides of Stone Spike is that you have to stay close, the resource cost is higher and sometimes the monsters get pushed back because of high damage, making you have to get closer after 2-3 push backs.

 

Stone Spike max damage is 5 hits, at 4 hits it is even with Flame Wave damage.

Yes most Likely PvE-wise I think MGS are fine. PVP they need better improvements. Increasing Death Ray Damage by 30-50% more, allowing Dancing Calamity to only proc with current Enchanted Weapon Element.

Note that everything that is good/usefull/enjoyable recieve a nerf. Have a couple of examples for different classes

I agree, those 2 skills definitely need a rework in a way to make it a bit more robust or fun to use. 
@Overlady any idea if there will be some rework or like upcoming patch for all classes?

If you play as mage using only 2 attack skills, you are playing wrong.
