Are mechs noob friendly?

I'm thinking of playing a mech but idk about skills or weapons etc.

 

Do you use claws the whole time or do you switch?

 

Also what server is good?

Yea, we do use 2 handed weapons. Hammers, scythes or swords (some failmechs use axe whatever)

Dont mechs use shields though? I thought they were tanks.

It really depends on which type of mech you're going to be.

 

Spark/Tank: Shield + Claw or toy (Spark mostly)

Power/Hybrid: Shield + whatever you want, 2 handed weapons

Auto: Bows - Javelin + Shield

Also i do recommend going SparkMech since its our best way to Lvl in the lower levels. anything + Shield as SparkMech :3

Also about the servers, they are linked. So if you do a  character on Hades it will be on all of them ^^

As claws are one-handed I thought it was kinda obvious of the shield usage.

Yeah I should have been more detailed on what I wanted though. but it's all ok i guess. I've been levelling like crazy though and am level 75 now. I guess now I should upgrade all my stuff though cause im still using level 60 gears from navisco. I also need to find a way to make some money.
