Noob EB questions

Just got to 148 last night and have some questions about the map. 

 

1. I see a lot of people say "party EB, have tank". Why is a secondary tank char necessary in this map? Why can't players use crystals, pets etc to tank? 
2. I see a lot of people asking "last slot EB" but when I send in the party request, they are not answered. This feels very different from SL, where if there's slots, I get accepted into the party instantly. Does the 148 daily work similar to SL? 
3. Items dropped. Do all mobs in EB drop 138/140/142/144/146 items? Or any specific mobs?

1. The Crystal or Pet don't have atk rating enough to keep agro from SS & EB mobs.

3. All Mobs.

1. yeah u can use boss xtals. seems to be the only kind of xtals that can survive long, but when u run out of xtals then the party will be interupted because you need to go get more or replenish pot or leave party hence no.  2

2. most people in EB go all day because they are doing exp Service and not let you in unless u stay in party for a few hours at least thus making the use of tank for ease of grind. About xtals. all the xtals can't agro if tormentor or steinkhor spawn. in terms of the daily quest best if u do it yourself or ask help from clan. so join a good clan that will help you out 🙂

3. all mobs although the drop rate is very low so don't expect anything good unless you be hunting in EB for at least a week to a month lol

A follow up question, does the higher hp/damage mobs have a higher probability of dropping nice items? The pink flying thing, the blue golem and that ratoo look like mob? 

 

Also, does ss drop anything higher than 136?

I don´t think so. The drop probability is the same for the map, not per mob.

Drop 140, 142, 144 if you´re very lucky!
