Pike issues in PvE

Hello i would talk about problems with Pike in PvE, like ''long cast time'' in some skills like Assassins Eye, Venom spear and even Ground Pike (Ice), this skills are essentials to Pike do damage and have a need  to do this all the time, maybe got tire in long time in relation to other classes. Maybe turning this cast time skills more fast in PvE can be a good solution? Pike is a nice clasic class and for PvP is one of the best one.
In recent patchs the Jump skill are a good alternative for CL but loss points to use in Ice for exemple, what helps a lot in PvE.

You have a good point , I believe if the skil  lethal strike ( T5 ) back to be a buf in differents level like before could help a lot , but I don't know If it's possible, maybe is hard because need remake the skill.

Yes idk how is "hard" to change this things, but good consideration too, can be another way to make pike more attractive in pve

Yeah , and will help in SOD/PVE EXP too , because I remember  had a level that changed the tornado, was not about dmg but about the area.

Idk if u are a old pikeman player, but if u are , o belive u agree with about the  change skill ... after this changes PS receive a new skil only for pvp , and only for use sometimes, and like was before we could use always in pve of pvp

yes i remember, some new possibilities in build with this old version, t5 pike now with vorpal + lethal strike is useless in pve sad

Hi guys, I've been playing pike for a few months now and I want to give you my view of pike gameplay.

 

I've played almost all the classes and the pike is the most fun because its skill kit means that it's not a static doll that uses only one skill to deal damage like the mage who can simply use fire wave that will kill the bugs quickly. The pike's kit today revolves around combining and rotating skills, currently I have a pike 156 full 140 basic items and with a 146 scythe, I can do most of the content in the game, of course with less efficiency than the other classes, but it is possible. The point I want to make is that the pike is a cadence class, it has a great burst of damage but the animations take a long time to finish, this reflects a lot on PVE performance as mentioned above.

 

For example, despite the huge burst of damage, I can't get MVP in a PRS, ATA, AS, KS etc. dungeon because until I finish my skill, these classes have already used 3 skills that dealt equal or greater damage.

 

Despite this problem, I still find pike the most fun doll in the game because of its variety of skills, for PVE and PVP.

 

In PVE the standard combo for mobs in the area would be Ground Pike, Venom Spear, Vorpal and Tornado + Dodge (this is the combo I use to kill 3 mobs at the same time in SS) and repeat, it gives considerable damage, but with the nerf on the pike's poison the mobs take a long time to die, because the vast majority of mobs have resistance to poison.

 

In conclusion, what I think could be improved is the casting speed of the skills, increasing the damage of the venom spear and some additional damage against certain types of mobs in some of the area skills.

We were waiting for the topic's anniversary to see if there was any news, or a reply message 🤣🤣

 

I think these problems should be addressed more quickly. Patches to balance class skills should come out not only when there is new content.

 

Try to do a balance patch every 3 or 4 times a year.

 

Something to fix skill damage and not rework an entire class.

 

Something basic, is class X weaker than the others? +5% damage to a certain skill to try to help.

 

Waiting 1 year for minimal help is sad.

The same happens with ASS. The team of developers pretend not to see that on this server almost no one plays with ASS, PS, and MS.

WHY DOES NOBODY PLAY AS THESE CHARACTERS? A simple answer, these characters are VERY weak compared to the others. A shame, because you go to EB, and only see magic char / range. People with 6 accounts and a free tank playing 24/7 by boot.
