Mental mastery is necessary?

Recommended Posts

mastellini

mental mastery gives 40% total mana in level 10 but im thinking transfer this points to diastrophism for sod etc, but energy shield descriptions 26% mana reduction, this change the amount of damage reduction? more mana = more abs? or mental mastery is kinda useless, because a superb mana potion can complete a half bar

Have you tried Agony yet? ^^
Forget Mental Mastery, with Agony you only care about HP, you won't even need to use a mana potion. You can kill better with Agony, less potion to carry, less time using the potion, more time to kill.

Go try Agony 10 🙂 don't underestimate it. I told you the pros of it already. Sure i'm using it, no need to pot mana is a great advanced.

Agony is really good but it has a disadvantage when you use it in PVP
You need to have more than 75% MP when using Dance of Calamity
if you use agony to recover MP you can leave yourself exposed for the next attack
They should correct it here, losing 20% HP in a mage is certain death
when we all know that it is not a wizard's strength to have high amounts of HP

I prefer to recover 40% MP and losing 10%HP would be more stable in PVP

Could you provide examples of scenarios where Agony is a good option?
I'm lv 141 with set 136, orb and robe 134 (all bsm), 2 L.Ring, DGS, 134 Amulet.
In Iron Core i obviously need to use Energy Shield because the monsters are strong, and here's the domino effect: the Energy Shield absorbs damage in exchange for MP, and
if I run out of MP in the bar i die if i'm using a Staff, since there won't be any more MP to exchange for received damage.

You didn't try Agony yet, right? Because when you try it you will understand the scenario right away ^^
